Who do you like? Suh is also available. A lot of older dudes.

Would have to restructure and or trade some guys to sign anybody. I'd be shocked if they don't have at least interest in Trey Flowers.

At their current ages and playing abilities, very few of those guys would be an upgrade over any projected starters on the roster now. Maybe Suh and Flowers.
Thats about it.
Julio Jones is toast.
This…..but the Chicken Littles can’t help themselves. I would add Jason McCourty, as a vet DB presence, if he is healthy AND they like his 2021 film (I didn’t see him play enough to comment on that).

There will be several other vets who will become available either via release or trade before September who have more left in the tank and who fit their needs better than the other players on that FA list.

Yes Suh and Flowers would likely be upgrades.

Also, probably a dozen available now or later as an OG or OC backup.

Trey Flowers
Sheldon Richardson
hell maybe Duane Brown depending on status of Wynn
i would take any of the front 7 listed players on this list. At least they would upgrade the BU/rotational spot or offer a sub rusher role for passing downs on the interior next to barmore.

How about Sheldon Richardson?

He's getting $24M and $27M under his present contract, about the same as Cousins. DEN paid a lot of picks for Wilson. I would think that DEN would want to let him play a year before upping his contract. After all, part of the compensation was to get a $50M (current market) QB at half price for 2 years.

Arguably, Wilson can afford to wait. However, $200M guaranteed is alot, even for him.

The capital they gave up for him is leverage for Wilson. A it shows what they think it's worth and B they can't let it go to waste. Wilson should ask and likely will get a new contract before the season.

how much interest? will he get less than hicks?

I suspect that Belichick is fine with the players that we have, likely expecting to add a backup IOL later.

Don't get me wrong. There may lots and lots of transactions. Belichick is always looking for potential upgrades.

I think that we lot of competition at almost all positions. The open question is how prepared we are for inevitable injury.

Except for qb, linebacker, interior offensive line and corner, we seem to have quality depth at the other positions.

Also, DL, Edge, TE.

The only quality depth is in RBs, WRs, & S.
