i don't know how serious the OP is about spelling mistakes but i just noticed one here and wanted to inform you

A lawyer I knew was given a last assignment before leaving his employer: review a complex document for errors.
In his last note to his boss, he indicated an error total that was one digit higher than what actually existed.
I don't know how many hours of legal assistant time was spent trying to find that last error that didn't exist before someone called him and he fessed up.

He told them something like, "there are 38 errors in this document." There were only 37. The legal staff then went hunting for the errors, and found 37, but believing there were 38, kept looking. And looking. And looking. Out of frustration, they called him, and he admitted it was only 37.
