Dean already had size issues when healthy, it's his offseason surgery I think that pushed him down into round 3. Patriots have taken 0 linebackers and didn't take a DL until round 6.Funny thing is had we taken Dean at 29 after the trade down this pick would’ve been met with general approval. Even though come to find out Dean would’ve been available at 80.
Nobody on the team has game breaking speed like Strong or Thornton. Both will play this year.Strange, Marcus Jones, and...(Thornton or Jones?)
I think Strange absolutely starts.Honestly think that strange, Jones, Thornton, and strong are going to contribute in a major way. The rest are just meh candidates for the practice squad or cuts.
Hoping for either Melton, Austin, Jobe or Allen. Allen is very underrated.
Unless Strong can't catch the ball (4 drops) or Thornton can't learn the playbook. We'll see.Nobody on the team has game breaking speed like Strong or Thornton. Both will play this year.
Completely forgot about him. I’ll take him as well.Surprised to not see Slade Bolden on this list. Would it shock anyone if he’s the pick at 245?
Yep. And if Brady had been chosen in 1st round in 2000 it would have been regarded as the GOAT of reaches lol.Funny thing is had we taken Dean at 29 after the trade down this pick would’ve been met with general approval. Even though come to find out Dean would’ve been available at 80.
TRADES FOR A 2023 7THI think Strange absolutely starts.
They'll get Marcus Jones involved - returning, CB, slot WR?
No idea on Thornton. I really have no idea.
They liked Jack Jones, from everything I heard, so maybe he's on the 53.
Minimal return, in my opinion. I wasn't big on the class at all. I'm hoping their decision to stay away from Edge and DT means that they've had discussions with Flowers and/or Hicks (or others).
Also wondering if there are some trades coming:
Harry (can't see any way he stays on this team), but not sure anyone's taking him from us;
Harris (I'd hate it, but after Michel, I never say never);
Agholor ($10 million savings and they have Parker and Thornton);
Stidham, if they can get anything.
Bryant probably on the hot seat, as is Williams.
Pretty sure Bailey is sticking around for a while, or they would have grabbed a top punter.
Wynn seems a lock, possibly an extension, since they didn't draft a successor.
Forgot about Flowers and Hicks. I liked them a lot when they played here. Not current on their injury status. It’s been a factor in their performance since they left.I think Strange absolutely starts.

so, which is it, not late off the snap as a strength or late off the snap as a weakness?Strengths
- …Rarely late off the snap.
Weaknesses
- …Can be late off the snap.
Harry would more likely go for a player - because the trade would get $$$ off the books, which the corresponding team will want to do as well.TRADES FOR A 2023 7TH
