I never heard of this kid before his name was called, but I like what I see in his highlights & we could use a punt returner

When I looked at the Patriots depth chart on their website yesterday, it said the main punt returner was Jakobi, and even though he's my favorite for the last few years (something about underdogs), I was thinking no way. We need to get someone in there, and this fits the Bill nicely.

One way you can view this is we used this pick for Devante Parker and a 4th rounder and a 5th rounder and a trade up in the 3rd round next year (unless Carolina finishes better than us this year)

Well now I look like an idiot for saying earlier that it was highly unlikely that they trade for future picks due to already being well stocked in 2023.

The Patriots now have 8 picks in 2023. They traded away their 3rd&5th round picks, but added Carolina's 3rd & Carolina's 6th and the LA Rams 4th.

We traded ours for Parker. We have two 3s (including comp), two 4s (Michel), two 6s (Gilmore).

Oh and they got lots of cap space. I’ll go through another rebuilding season in 2022 and enjoy the **** out of 2023. All part of the team building process.
