2022 PTP Draft Board / Pats Draft Talk

Take this for what it’s worth WR Skyy Moore went to School with Mike Tomlin's son. It's said that he's the best route runner in the Draft will contribute immediately from the Slot. Also have potential to play on the outside he's a really good prospect. This coming from Steeler fans who have had some good WR's over the years.

It's no mystery this years WR class is really ridiculously good. I see some very good prospects coming from it I'm even warming up to Drake London. FredFD I am not going to make NKeal Harry make me think any less of Drake London. On tape you can see London is a superior player he's not stiff for his size and should be a RZ threat right off the bat. I think we will double dip at WR and I think London might be there at 21 he's not fast like the others just Big and agile. I think he could potentially be a surprise fall. I could be wrong I don't think he's a sure Top 10 or 12 maybe if he had a little more speed. Imagine London/Moore on a double dip or a London/Dotson Hmmmmm.

Elite explosion and agility numbers. 4.5 is more than fast enough if your technique is good. I'll bet he just didn't get a good start in the 40. With that kind of testing, though, he could probably get into the 4.4s easily with some more dedicated training (as if that matters). On tape he doesn't look slow. Instead, he looks like a supreme athlete, which he just showed with the short shuttle and 3-cone times. Elite!

I really like this class in general. Lots of good players.

Moore is a former QB who rushed and passed for over a 1k in HS back to back years & was standout DB. He's quite the football player. He'll make an impact from the slot for sure. Play strength and hands aren't as solid outside so that'll take time or might not happen but he'll be a solid target for years from the slot. One of the better r/r in the draft but he's excellent on the los. Has some great releases and stems to his routes. He'll have to improve his blocking though. He could be a QB's best friend.

Yup and that's why #'s matter. It goes without saying. You won't be a good player just bc you have them but show me good players that are bad athletes. Just doesn't happen for the most part. Those are great #'s.

Yess with that kind of Explosion you can win the battle from the LOS that's where Good CB's neutralize WR's.

BaconG: was that Georgia Defense the Second coming of the steal curtain?? I see Four Players from that Defense in the First Round. Also I know Pats fans are jonesing for Jordan Davis but I think his Teammate D Wyatt ain't a bad consolation prize I like his game also he has very solid technique for a Big man. He also plays his gap responsibilities very well I like.

That list has Elam at 31. I really like Elam based on his performance against top receivers. If we traded down to 31/32 and got Elam followed by Muma and Jones that is a home run in my book. An outside CB and two inside guys, DT and ILB. Let's hope.
I just took Elam off my board last night actually but he go back up. Idk he's not that physical at all and doesn't really like to tackle. If we're taking someone RD1 as CB1 for us I think we need a little more in that department.

I go back and forth on a few guys each year. Not many at all. About 5-8 prospects that are 50/50 imo. His size and fluidity are super intriguing. Has plenty of nice traits but he really doesn't like to get physical which could be a problem for us. Again theirs a few guys I go back and forth on. Last year it was Perkins and Barmore and they ended up here. Which would have given me 5 guys off my board.

I like Sky Moore for this team from what I've read. I think if we got an impact defensive player in round 1, then nabbed Moore in round 2 (either at 54, or a small trade up), it would be a great start to the draft. I like Meyers, but Moore feels more like the type of slot receiver that can be the engine in this offense.

Speaking on NKeal Harry in this draft, Burks from Arkansas is the guy who really gives me Harry flashbacks.

That's something we don't want to make unfair comparisons if Treylon Burks plays up to his abilities he's mismatch on the field ie... DK Metcalf I'm just saying. P.s. many Draft publications have him very close to the Top 1-2 or 3.

I'm looking at potential Slot guys what do you think of Wan'Dale Robinson? He measured 5'8 at the combine and not 5'11 I think he plays feisty and have good not the best catch radius but he separates well.

I don't know too much in detail, but I wonder if he'd end up being more of a long term James White replacement, rather than a slot guy. Maybe someone that works out of the backfield on 3rd and long. But again, I don't know enough to say for sure, I might just be basing that on his size. Slot guys take a beating.

DK ran a 4.33 40 time, Burks ran a 4.55. Harry ran a 4.57.

My concern is that like Harry, Burks has good speed for the college game but I'm skeptical it translates to the NFL.

Ha! I would love it just for fun of watching him run wheel routes against linebackers.

Some guys defy that 40 time some guys like Treylon Burks won't run well coming out of a stance. But his game playing speed is what you can see on tape he won't be running routes from a track stance he's a physical freak who can be moved around.
