As a reminder, OBJ said he was "very very very close" to signing with the Patriots but ultimately chose the Rams last year.

He's rehabbing from an injury. He's older but not "old" - he'll turn 30 this November. I would be comfortable with NE inking him to a 3 or 4 year deal assuming there's not too much guaranteed... He seems like a good fit. If he wants a ton of money or something then no. But if Allen Robinson only got 3 years/$46M then can we get OBJ for 4 years/$38M? Seems like it'd be another deal that looks like a good value by the end.

Is Landry aware Allen Robinson only got $15M per? Why would Landry get 33% more money per year than a better, younger player?

I thought Robinson took less $ to play for a ring. He’s made “decent money” so far but has played for Jax & da Bears so some people aren’t about the last dollar at some point in their careers. I think he’s a bargain & would have easily been our WR1.

If he did, I didn’t see it reported that way. “There were higher offers but I came here for a ring” etc. AFAIK that was the highest offer range he saw.

Valdez Scantlin is a one trick nine route pony but he fits into what the Chiefs do well. He's still young with some upside going forward that $10Mill will look like peanuts in this league two years from now.
