The longer Robinson goes unsigned, the less likely he is going to get $18-20 million. If he had an offer for $19-20 million a year, he would already be signed. That is comprehible to what Godwin just got and what Williams got with the Chargers. He obviously hasn't gotten an offer like that yet. He still may get too much for the Patriots to be in the mix, but the absolute silence on the guy seems to be the market for him might not be as strong as people thought.
Or Maybe Chicago and him have a wink wink see what the offers are we will match anything.

Deshaun to Saints..wow, if that happens

He is done in Chicago. He isn't going back. He doesn't seem to be a scheme fit there, he and Fields do not seem to be on the same page, and he is probably done with all the years of his talent being wasted with subpar talent.

Just wait until they trade for Jimmy G……

I think the Colts will be willing to pay more for him.

BTW, the way the Browns are treating the Mayfield situation is why I never thought Watson would ever let the Texans to trade him there no matter the talent on the roster. That organization is still a clown show.

I going to go on record and say if he's not signed by Today something is up. Allen Robinson has to be talking to someone or some Team. Josh McD could use another WR in Las Vegas to go with Hunter Renfrow Hmmmmm.

Embarrassed how? You have nothing to do with it. How can you feel embarrassment for something you have no responsibility for ?
If you trip going up the stairs you can be embarrassed.
If you drop an f bomb in front of grandma you can be embarrassed.
If your mom catches you beating off you can be embarrassed.
If other men play poorly in a football game and you really hoped they would play well, that’s not embarrassment.

The point is a fan being “embarrassed” is just a lame way to trash the team and sound like you are such a noble fan they aren’t good enough for you.

I’m a patriot fan and every time they play I want them to win. If they don’t I am not embarrassed because I wanted them to win. I’m pissed but my personal value is not diminished because of them losing a game.

The definition of embarrassment
a feeling of self-consciousness, shame, or awkwardness.

So when the patriots lose do you feel self-conscious over someone else’s actions? Are you ashamed of yourself? Do you feel awkward around people because you like a team that lost a game ?
But what if you catch your mom beating off? Even though you have no responsibility for it and no control over it, I think that is fair reason to be embarrassed...among many other adjectives.

I would not be embarrassed by promptly throwing up on the floor though. I think that would be justified.

I think he sees where Watson goes.
Atlanta also needs a 1

This is my hunch . The teams that make huge trades or outlandish offers are teams with a very proven Star QB and few key all pro personnel around whom you can build a team and hence mortgage the future for few years of awesomeness.

As for us, Mac is still not a proven commodity and is not setting the stage on fire. Nor do we have other worldly talents or all -pro in the mix. We need some time and patience to allow our team to settle in and find the superstars/ all pros around whom we can build the team. For now it looks like the core pieces are Mac, Judon, barmore, Rhamondre, dugger , Harris, Bourne, J Jones and a certain extent Hunter Henry and potentially Onwenu . That's it.

And we are completely decimated on defense and offense . So we need this season to polish the existing core and find more hidden gems ( McMillan, Uche,Jonnu, agholor, wade, Mills)

Till we do that expending future cap space on new veteran additions is useless. I hear that the cap will explode , but we can possibly take better advantage of it by timing it when our strengths and stars align.

This year sadly as a pats fan is going to be a pretty tough one. But we might find the additional pieces to form a stronger and bigger core around whom we can develop into a stronger unit.

Mac becomes more accustomed to operating in pressure . The cornerbacks step up in anticipation etc. It does sound too optimistic, but unless we try how can we sure. We are not tanking this year, whilst at the same time we might not over extend.

Thought Watson is going to Bayou country? He would only go to Atlanta for the $$$$ questionable supporting cast.

IDK, other than Christian Kirk, all the top free agent WRs are either unsigned or took below market prove it deals (Chark in Detroit). The only WR I have heard who even is talking to teams is Jarvis Landry who has a visit today. I think the market for WRs could be soft again this year like it was last year.

Great analogy

He was the highest paid slot corner in the NFL for a time. Didn’t really do anything special here in his first go-round in 2015 but that was very early in his career. Could be a huge upgrade to Miles Bryant if Jonathan Jones isn’t fully healthy. Still doesn’t solve the #1 outside CB question obviously, but Coleman and Terrance Mitchell at least offer the potential to be upgrades on the weakest CB links from last year (JoeJuan Williams and Bryant).

Negative Nancys said we had no talent the entire time the Pats were winning six rings... we never had talent, it was all Tom.

If one looks at the world through this weird prism of negativity and QB magic sure, everything is bleak.

I'd just suggest to all our negative Nancys to take your meds.
Maybe, but the reality is Bill has never won the division with an average QB, so it's not absurd to believe that getting a lot of talent around our QB may be what is needed. Not sure there's much difference between negative nancies and blind homers. There's room for something in the middle.

Better more productive guys are on the market this year... I think if BB had to do it over especially with a Agholor type signing this was a better year to be in the mix. That said we did hit he Jackpot with K Bourne which is highway robbery.

He won 11 games in 2008 with a QB who didn't start a single game in college, a 7th round pick.

He was undefeated with JimmyG starting.

They have a good young prospect now in Mac who is on a team friendly rookie contract for years.

Rome wasn't built in a day.
