They'll probably draft the other G with their 1st round pick or slide Aaron Stinnie into the starting lineup. I really like the Bucs bringing in Russell Gage as their third receiver too. Now they just need to re-sign Gronk and Fournette and their offense will be set (provided Godwin comes back 100% from the ACL). The Bucs defense still has holes to fill... especially their secondary.

Everyone who likes him keeps talking about what he did to end the year. Well he was getting touches because there was a lack of receiving options on that team.

Also Compare the last four games of Russell Gage in 2021 to the last four games Nelson Agholor in 2020. Guess who had better numbers? I’ll give you a hint, it’s the guy people on this forum want to package with a draft pick to dump. [note also that Agholor had a better track record and had a better overall year in 2020 than Gage did in 2021 …]

I don't know much about Gage. For WR's I always look at catch percentage 1st, yards 2nd. He has a good percentage overall and last year was very good...

The reason why the Cowboys are trading him is because his replacement, Terrence Steele, played so well last year while Collins was serving his suspension and is four years younger and still on his rookie deal. He served his suspension last year and it was five games.

He was on my PTP list in 2018 as a late round - udfa. ST standout at LSU that could stretch the field. Smart kid that excelled in school. Happy for him.
