Sign Bolden and Trent Brown...

Hoping for Trey Flowers and I'd love Miles Jack here. i can't see eith

If there's a big DT out there...

And on O, another vet lineman.

And maybe a WR candidate.

When Wynn got hurt in the COVID year, he was leading the team in snaps. he could have come back, but WHY?

Last year, the only OL players who had more snaps than Wynn were Andrews and Mason, and it was close. Go ahead, find a left tackle to replace him for under $11m.

You wouldn't have a hard time trading him. Agholor is a tougher sell, and given the new contracts we're seeing....
Sorry 50 I don't drink kool aid it leaves a bitter taste in my mouth.

I think we'll be focusing on a cb in the 1st round. Let's not start making ridiculous comments about drafting a guard at 21.
Agreed, regarding the Pats 1st rd pick. But I was talking about the Bucs taking a G at 27.

Every team wants to be in the win now mode , mortgaging assets and future cap space . Maybe it's here where Bill sees an opportunity.

I am not a typical optimist , but when everything seems to be going in a downward spiral , there is no other option but to start looking up as we have been a winning organization and that culture will help us to remain afloat while we regroup and come back stronger.

My hypothesis this season is Bill wants to identify the men amongst the boys and have few leaders to help them in the transition ( mccourty, Slater, hoyer and white) . But going by off-season it looks to be more of a regrouping season as opposed to competing season. Whether we will be able to compete depends on how the team can get charged up as they will be the overwhelming underdogs against most teams .

We might end up giving contracts to some young middle / lower tier OTs and give them an opportunity to shine in next 2 years .

When starting from the coach to staff to the players , when everyone's capability is being questioned, mocked or ridiculed, it just gives them all the more fuel to go in and perform . I know it feels like a movie script, but some people perform best when there is a point of no return. A cornered mice is much more dangerous than a mouse on the run .

I see this team as a team with too many chips on the shoulders . Joe judge, Matt Patricia are ridiculed and seen as failed HCs with zero capabilities or ability to turn around . Belichick is questioned if he can win without Brady. Mac has a weak arm. Agholor is useless. Jonnu is useless . Meyers is average. Mccourty is old. Slater is old.

There is so much tension. So much negativity . But on the positive side there is so much fuel to stoke a fire in all of them which can propel us. Go Pats !!

P.s : I am not a Homer. Just felt so frustrated with the negativity that I applied a inverse logic to all that is happening .

Does anyone know how much cap space the Patriots have at this point?

Corner market is getting ridiculously low. And still plenty good players available.
Surprised BUF let Wallace go at this price.. He was projected 9M apy. A steal for PIT.

Yeah that is pretty cheap for a starting cb, buffalo fans seem upset with that one. Hoping we can nab some similar deals

On a positive note, Buffalo lost one of their starting CBs too. Although I think we're technically <1 legitimate starting CBs.

NE has no starting caliber outside corners.

Please go to the Bucs forum to discuss the Bucs and their team. That's where all their fans go.

Ash, with all due respect, this is an NFL Free Agency thread. All team transactions are being discussed here incl. Jete, Dolts, Queefs, Squeelers, etc.

There are multiple threads on individual Pats transactions.

I know a questionable move when I see one. BB is not infallible.
Never said he was. I don't like the Mason move - I have no idea what was behind it (salary dispute upcoming? declining performance on the tape? Making some $ for a bigger move?).

What I do know is that this team has been in the playoffs almost every year since 2001 and has shown us a run that is unbelievable in a hard-cap league.

I also know that you scream for players with every post that you'd almost certainly be complaining about next year. Trade this guy! Trade that guy! (Like, you can snap your fingers and make a trade, right?) Sign this shiny toy! No, this one!

I'll take kool aid over castor oil, thanks.
