OT: Bills interested in Gronk

Gronkowski was the highest-paid player in the history of that position once the extension kicked in.

Yeah I don't get this bill screwed Gronk with the extension narrative. When he signed it he was the highest paid tight end and still on his rookie deal I believe

Now just because the market changes doesn't mean you got screwed. It's same as Gilmore situation. At the time he was one of if not the highest paid corner. But the market changes.

If players want to play the market they could do short term deals but then you risk getting injured or underperforming and never getting that big payday. So it's a calculated risk. Long term security vs the market going up at your position. Alot of players want their cake and to eat it too.

Don’t think it will happen but Josh Allen to Gronk is potentially a much bigger problem for us than Brady to Gronk in the last two seasons.

Like it was with Brady I wasn’t happy with how he ended up leaving NE but I’m over it. He missed the week 4 game this past season so I’m sure he’d be excited to go head to head against us if he had the opportunity.

Gronk would be a beast in Buffalo's offense. Buffalo already is a matchup nightmare for New England. Gronk will be another guy we can't cover.

LOL, Gronk didn't think the Pats were fun to play for any more, and he's going to go to Buffalo? Didn't his family flee there many years ago already? I'm sure Buffalo would love to have him (as would we), but I'm sure it's just California Dreamin' on their part.
