Red Throwback Jerseys making a return in 2022

As an "old school" guy I like the "old school" uniforms..

Two changes:
Get rid of the shiny helmet use matte white
Update the Pats Patriot logo, this one looks like something from a 5th grade art contest.. I like the anger theme, but it does now work as well now as it did then.

Global supply chain isn’t soo bad that an organization with the financial might of an NFL team can’t get 53 uniforms made if they truly wanted to get it done. The problem is likely they can’t get the thousands of jerseys and other modified merchandise they want to peddle during game day to maximize their dipping into the pockets of their fan base.

I disagree...

that is one of the worst uniforms in Pats history. Its just plain old boring. Nothing about it stands out. its just as bad as the current home all blues...

If you are going to use the older uniforms, at least the red pants version "popped" visually... from '92

I agree. I liked the red jerseys but they just werent appropriate. The original Patriots(circa 1776) wore blue. The eneny Brits wore redcoats. As a little kid in the 60's I used to argue with people that it was just plain wrong. Like all the grownups never studied history.

The flag of the USA is red white and blue, but the blue is still prominent. As where in the Patriots throwback, its extremely minimal.

And the enemy were literally called the redcoats, whcih makes it worse imo.

In thinking this over, based on comments in this thread, i guess my point could be summed up as:

Its a football uniform, not a historical reenactment...
