Roger Craig saved Montana's bacon more than once. I think it more than evened out in the end.
People either forget or ignore that for a 3-4 year stretch, Roger Craig was the best RB in football. First ever 1000/1000 back.
Likely 49ers win without that fumble.Roger Craig was also the guy that fumbled in the 1990 NFCCG in which Montana was leading when he got knocked out late in the 4th...
Nick Wright is your curse.Btw Chiefs are favored to win SB next year. According to Vegas odds.
Not sure if that's good or a curse.
Not since the 2016 Patriots has Vegas #1 favorite to win actually..well..won it all.
And like I said, Craig bailing out Montana on multiple occasions more than made up for one fumble. In the vast majority of the 49ers playoff wins, they ran the ball more than 30 times.Likely 49ers win without that fumble.
But those are the breaks.
He's a diehard fan.Nick Wright is your curse.

Yes, the Patriots went from a 95% chance of a loss to a 100% chance of a win with that pick. I will say that. That's "bailing Montana out?" That's just the style of the Niners and more particularly the era of football in which Montana played. The 80s niners were a run first team. The 2010s Patriots were a pass-first team. I mean Malcolm Butler bailed Brady out in a big way...
Huh? How did Butler bail Brady out? He bailed out his defensive teammates since they allowed Wilson to march down the field AFTER Brady had put the team ahead for the win. That's "bailing Montana out?" But.......
Malcolm Butler doesn't get a chance to be a hero if Brady doesn't go god mode against a once in a generation type Defense. All in the 4th quarter.

You've got a warped biased way of looking at things. Everything is through some anti-Brady viewpoint. You're pathetic.
Sherman, Kam, Wright, Wagner, Bennett, and Thomas were still in the game.As is commonly known, the Seattle secondary was not the same as it was in 2013. Their starting corner, Jeremy Lane, went out in the 1st or 2nd quarter and was replaced by a scrub named Tharold Simon, whom Brady picked on throughout the game. Also, Cliff Avril, one of their best pass rushers, went out of the game due to a concussion. let's not complicate things.
Ugh...how about the Defense completely falling apart with like 30 seconds left in the 1st half? That would've made it easier for NE too.Do you not remember the two picks in the red zone Brady threw earlier in the game? Yeah, those additional 6-14 points would have made things a bit easier for NE in the end. Oh, you don't remember anything bad Brady does - just the good.

Not going to lie, me as a young boy thought that SB was over after this occurred. Then the ref pick play where Seattle went up 24-14.He only threw 1 pick in the red zone that game. The other was on NE 32
So your argument is essentially Brady shouldn't get full marks for that comeback because he was a reason they had to comeback in the first place. Correct?Sherman was playing with one arm that game and the rest of those players aren't exactly the 85 Bears...
Ok, but the Seahawks scored after the Wagner interception, so Brady gave up points with that pick. Either way, those INTs were huge errors.
Sure, but they won and his positive plays had more impact than those picks.Ok, but the Seahawks scored after the Wagner interception, so Brady gave up points with that pick. Either way, those INTs were huge errors.
