I guess Brady, just like Kraft and Belichick, never gave a **** about you, or any of us, to begin with. You should have realized that years ago and just enjoyed the once-in-a-lifetime inspiration Brady provided. But you didn't. What a miserable, empty life.

Then why did you follow him like a puppy dog over to Tampa? You really care about people who do't care about you? I've seen other great quarterbacks in this league, man, like Montana, Manning, etc. They all provide inspiration to NFL fans everywhere. Brady's not the only one.

BTW - he can't retire as a Patriot unless the Bucs release him, which they don't seem interested in doing.

I have to give it to Brady. I thought he could have ended like Marino and staying too long at the party and retiring probably a year or two too late. I just thought Brady was such a competitor that he would refuse to call it a career even when his skills failed him. But he did the opposite and left while he was still playing at a really high level.

The fans didn’t boo him. Quite the opposite, actually. I’m sure there are a few assh0les that booed, but the sound from the crowd was overwhelming cheers until kickoff.

I can understand the emotional connection that a lot of fans, including myself, have with Brady and the desire to see him go out as a Patriot.

No matter how he retires, it won't wipe away the 20 years of absolute dominance he had with the Pats.

I cannot understand the emotional attachment of fans. He's a great player and I loved watching him perform and win for NE.
