Ok,then.No BOB
Mac will know all of the receivers and how they compare to Waddle and Smith. Might make BB comfortable picking one including an outside and slot guy. Fingers crossed.

Considering that Brian is currently working as the Safeties position coach and has ZERO experience on the Offensive side of the ball, this sort of speculation is lunacy..Could he, would he name his other son as OC.
Not sure if you meant O'Brien was Mac's OC at Alabama because he was not. O'Brien was at Alabama for 1 year while Mac was at the Patriots.
Yeah, in his One year as OC, i remember him getting into it with Moss and maybe BradyNot a big fan of O’Brien’s personality. Not sure if the tough coaching fits in with todays athletes. I know a lot of players grew up with tough coaching but not sure they want to endure that when they are 30+ years old and have wives and children. Could be way off in that assessment because I’m not privy to the inner workings. But that is my perception as an outsider.
However, if he’s able to get the two te sets back up and successful again while incorporating the wr’s, Harris and Stephenson into the mix I’d be all for it regardless.

Sorry to say NEM has passed, and yes, that is a pic of him as my avatar. For the Forum OGs
What is Nem up to?
Oh no I’m sorry to hear that.Sorry to say NEM has passed, and yes, that is a pic of him as my avatar.
we used to battle in the political forum, but I loved him like the crazy old uncle he was!
I think Watson developing as a passer had a lot of do with it.i notice that he ran less as time went on
Going off the board

Yeah, well, Brady was a passer too. Just because you have a qb that can pass doesn't mean you should eschew the running game. they compliment each other.I think Watson developing as a passer had a lot of do with it.
His offenses were 6th, 3rd and 1st in the only 3 years as OC. He’s a very good replacement for McDaniels.Didn't like BOB when he was here before, from what i remember he was predictably pass happy. He would abandon the run, there wasn't any down or distance he didn't have brady passing.
Mac always says he loves tough coaching. Him and BOB would get along. Not a big fan of O’Brien’s personality. Not sure if the tough coaching fits in with todays athletes. I think your point is valid but if you're coming to New England, O'Brien or not, you better be ready for some tough coaching. Not a big fan of O’Brien’s personality.
