The NFL is headed for:

* Clock with tenths of seconds, so winning touchdowns can be scored with 0.1 time remaining.
* Coach's challenge allowing replay booth to call DPI not flagged on the field.
* Timeouts for celebrity guest appearances on the Jumbotron.
* On-field halftime awards ceremonies for fantasy football winners.
* Defenses penalized for tackling quarterback anywhere behind line of scrimmage.
* A season spanning August-March with 20 regular season games and two bye weeks.
* Expansion to 40 teams.
* All teams at or above .500 make the playoffs.
* Judge's panel awarding points for team with most creative end zone celebration.
* Player spouses/girlfriends miked-up and allowed unlimited sideline access.
* Game stopped after interceptions/fumble recoveries for defensive unit portrait photo session.
* Quarterbacks completing less than 80 percent of their passes will be considered "mediocre."

What else?

Football was better before the rule changes and the rise of fantasy football/Godell/going woke etc.

Add mouthing off to the officials results in an unsportsmanlike penalty!

I’ll also add playing games outside of the country by taking a way a team’s home game is idiotic.

Well i kinda of like this one.

The dpi flags? Been there, done that... Not happening...

Can see them requiring all teams having domed stadiums though

- elimination of all kickoffs, with opponents to start at 25. Onsides kick option would be to complete a 4th and 15 from your own 40 yard line.
- elimination of push-off OPI, only allowing OPI when the defender is clearly prevented from intercepting the ball.
- clock stops after every play inside of 2 minutes regardless of prior play
- elimination of intentional grounding
- replay raffle, teams can purchase an extra replay review for 10 yards

No defenses on the field in OT. Instead a panel of judges will decide on the prettiest TD in OT to win. Kinda like the slam dunk contest

More like:

* OPI no longer will be penalized.
* Ineligible receiver downfield no longer a penalty -- ALL offensive players are eligible receivers.
* Two forward passes allowed per pass play.
* QB allowed to still pass pass ball 5 yards beyond LOS.

That has been the rule ever since the league was started.

Stupid one too! Officials need to get their act together and not think they are Gods!

Audience poll by text to determine the automatic review after touchdowns.

No, they need to keep control of the game.
Do you really want to see heated arguments over every call, and 5 hour games?
It’s not the honor of the referee that’s the issue, it’s control of the game.

Do you not watch baseball?

I don't think Brady's complaints about a missed blow to his face, however crudely they were delivered, where any threat to Hochuli having control of the game. It was a stupid call. the refs need to have thicker skin than that. Sure, no physical contact and I guess there are lines (magic words) that you can't say.

I don't know exactly what Brady said, but one can see by the blood that he had a damn good point.

If being able to get in a refs face and scream at him when you don’t like a call we’re acceptable the game would be totally out of control. It would happen 20 times a game.
It’s not about thick skin, it’s about enforcing the rule, which is a ref purpose of existence.
Brady knows the rule, the issue is him losing his composure (while knowing yelling at the ref isn’t getting the call changed) , not a man paid to enforce rules, actually enforcing the rule.
I’m not sure how blood makes his argument valid, or his actions. It may explain why he lost his composure but it doesn’t make his argument any more valid.
