Brady and Antonio Brown

how have times changed? Brady is going to Super Bowls AND he has amazing stats?
What a ****ing stupid post
Bill looks like a complete and utter clown from moving on from Brady, not only because Brady still had/has multiple years of championship play left BUT because he won the friggin SB in year one away from Bill which cast the entire dynasty in Brady's favor as the one most responsible for the run. And of course Bill's answer was to draft a literal clone of Brady skills wise when he had the real thing in the GOAT.

Bradys exit was 1 year before this season where he is not winning the Super Bowl. Just watch.

Yes, BB got rid of Brady because it was time to move on. I realize that it hurts bad, but the pain will subside. Brady was not the future for the Patriots just like Montana wasnt for SF and Farve wasnt for GB. Brady is one of the few to win a championship with a different team. With all the new Tampa weapons at Bradys disposal and Lady Luck, Brady got it done. Only a fool would believe that Brady would have won the Super Bowl last season with the Pats offensive roster.

Years ago, Peyton Manning was racking up statistics in the AFC while Brady was going to Super Bowls. Back in those days stats were for losers because the wins no matter how ugly trumped personal achievements. Times have changed.

Brady won the Super Bowl last year because he had the best supporting cast probably in NFL history for a SB winning team. Bill couldn't compete with that. I mean the guy threw for 3 picks in the NFCCG and STILL won. If he were in NE, he would have 25-30 TDs and 4000 or so yards and a probably divisional round exit. You put Rodgers or Mahomes on last year's Bucs and the same result would have happened.

Brady won the SB last year because he's the most succesful, clutch post season QB in NFL history. The Bucs scored 30+ ppg in every one of the 4 playoff games (1st time EVER). That wasn't because receivers were throwing TDs at themselves.

Brady unilaterally elevated that team (on both sides of the ball) by getting them to believe that it was possible to win it all. This is well documented by interviews with defensive players, offensive players, coaches, FO and owners.

Brady did the same thing in NE despite having less talent at the skill positions, yet somehow we're to believe this was only possible because of the talent around him.

You continue to make excuses for Brady's greatness and look ridiculous and foolish doing it. You have zero credibility on this forum as a known troll yet you think your being smart while being oblivious that everyone just laughs at you. Have an ounce of dignity and remove your clown show from this forum.

Lol. Tampa Bay had the best quarterback in Superbowl history. He makes the plays that needs to be made and wins. Your guy Rogers royally blew his chance to score when he had to. If, if ,if, if. Change your name to IF10 for cripes sake.

Are you trying to set a record for stupid posts? Best supporting cast ever? I hate to break some news to you, but Brady was superbowls with less than what this pats team is this year. If he were the QB of the pats, they would be superbowl favorites. Now they are not because their Qb is basically hoping to god his run game and defense are great so he does not have to throw. You put mahomes on last years bucs team, then he would basically be on his team. Same with Rodgers. Its funny that Rodgers and mahomes have all these ALl-pro's playing and the bucs dont, but yet its called greatest supporting cast of all time, that did not win a playoff game for 18 years and then suddenly won the superbowl.

Well first Bill didnt get rid of Brady, Brady left. NO Brady is not the future of the patriots becuase the future of the patriots is what they were before he got there. New Tampa weapons? YOu might want to go look at 2019 Tampa weapons it was the same when they were 7-9. No maybe Brady would not have won the superbowl last year, I mean he only goes to superbowls half the time so it might have skipped one, but they are in the playoffs, and frankly if he were there this year the pats would be superbowl contenders. Times have changed...He literally just won the superbowl. lol. He has a lot of stats and wins superbowls. Brady does what he needs to do in order to win,. if that means get a lot of stats then he will. Sorry stats are for losers when you dont win, he does.

Not sure what the bolded part means.

Yes, in the past, Brady has won with less. But he's at a point in his career where he needs star players around him. He didn't get it done in NE in 2019 simply because his teammates were not that good. In 2018, the defense carried him. He made one good throw to Gronk in SB 53 in a game where the offense scored only 13 points. From 2018 to 2019, it was clear regression on Brady's part. Then he went to a place that had tons of weapons and he turned back into an MVP.

Oh really? Was this an informal poll with your Bradyite friends? All 10 of them? You said you would post it on the main board. Do it or shut up.

No it was guy that makes stupid posts because for whatever reason he hates a player that made his supposed team great for 20 years. Which gets back t my theory that you were a brady hater on another team fan and when he left you jumped ship.

Its more laughter actually. So Bill got rid of brady and the next 2 years Brady has thrown 83 td's and over 9000 yards, and won the superbowl and is 2 seed this year...See how stupid you sound when you wrap facts around it? Since Brady left the pats are 17-16....which would be the worst two years since Brady became the starter...
I'm not sure if it's funny or sad that a fan of the Pats is taking shots at Brady. Not after all that Brady did for the team.

Bill is looking exactly like who he is, a great coach, but still just a coach.
I pay money to see the players play, not the coaches coach or the owners own.
Letting Brady go was the blunder of all blunders.

Your knowledge of NFL history is actually worse than your knowledge of vaginas.

It might not have been a 50/50 proposition but make no mistake, Brady was complicit in his New England exit more than you know or are willing to admit. This ongoing Brady > BB drum you're beating to death is a load of crap.

Well when your head coach is rumored to want to trade you to keep JG, and then wont give you a two year deal after all you did for the team, then as a player, you might see the writing on the wall about leaving. Bill telling Brady we wont give you a two year deal and you are only getting 12 mil for one year is an utter slap in the face of everything Brady ever did for that team. All Bill had to do was let Brady know he was still wanted there, but the issue was, Bill got used to thinking it was never about Brady and it was him, and he wanted to prove that. Something drove Brady to be upset, it just didnt happen for no reason. Brady had been ultra loyal to that team, he took less money, and I never heard him ever ***** about draft picks or bad FA pickups or wanting coaches fired like Rodgers does. Something changed that.

He became a pats fan when Brady left. There are a lot of pats fans that wanted to move on after Brady left and thats fine, there were some that thought it was time or whatever, but very few trashed him and said that everything he did was a farce and started using things that trolls use on twitter. I have read enough from trolls that bashed Brady when he was on the pats for 20 years to know what it sounds like. Mac became a pats fan when Brady walked out that door. This is beyond not wanting to talk about brady on the main forum, he comes to a brady thread ands trashes a Qb that did nothing but give everything he had for 19 years here, he gave up family time, he gave up money, he gave up his body.

Have you ever noticed that whenever the mediots talk about the Pats they talk about Belichick first? I don't recall that happening with other teams. It's about Allen not McDermott. It's about Mahomes not Reid. It's about Rodgers, not whoever the HC is. It wasn't until Brady went to TB that it was about him and not the HC. That has to be happening for a reason.

The biggest thing for me is Tom's age defiance. It won't last forever (obviously), but you can't really blame BB for checking out when the guy was heading into his age 43 season. Correct me if I am wrong, but I think Brady played most of 2019 with an elbow injury. Plus, just like Brady knew what the Pats had coming back and what Tampa had, BB knew this as well and figured it's probably best to spend 2020-2021 finding a new QB while he rebuilt the rest of the team. This doesn't have to be a zero sum ordeal. Both Brady and Belichick can come out winners from this.

How many 44 year olds put up MVP caliber seasons? Brady and BB can both be geniuses. How much easier is it for Brady to absorb hits when he's playing half of his games in Florida? Or to rehab injuries? Brady saw an opportunity and seized it. Belichick winning 10 games after all the success of the past is still a really good feat. They are both football gods.

Yup he sounds mad.
