Just kidding! Not a peep.

And to any other fan bases who might peek in here: GOOD. The Pats got whipped. Full stop. That's it. If we wanted the Bills to stop scoring, that's what a defense is for.

So the next time the Pats win huge--and it's coming--do us a favor, media and others, and shut the F up. That is all.

Given that it's the playoffs, I think the Bills should have pulled their starters out of caution at 40-10. This was not going to be a 28-3 comeback situation and we all knew it. For their own benefit, I didn't much point of risking a key player getting injured. But in terms of "running up the score" that has always been one of the stupidest things ever. It's insulting to the other team to stop playing your best. It's condescending. These men are professionals who make millions of dollars to play the sport.

And the main thing I always believe is this: the onus is on the losing team to pull their starters first, if they want to come up with some type of gesture of a surrender flag, at which point the winning often does display good sportsmanship and pulls their own starters.

I didn't think they ran it up at all. We didn't stop playing and trying. Why should they?

Personally I don't believe in letting up on effort until the opposing team getting its ass kicked has stopped trying.

Now it is OK to put in the 3rd stringers but 100% effort is expected from everyone

Nobody complained when Hoyer threw a touchdown pass. We always said, we're just running plays, stop us if you don't like it. Same should apply to us. Don't turn into a bunch of whiners. Take out lumps.

I actually think we did stop caring. Not to say the Bills didnt blow us out and deserve it. Just seemed like the team knew they were done and didnt care after a certain point. Especially the defense.

I don't agree with that at all.

The Pats ran up the score on the Jags, so . . .

Its was closer than I expected.

BB only took the FG so they could not claim a shutout.

Maybe I wasn't clear here. I don't think I've seen a single post here talking about "running up the score." My point is it has been incredibly lame for years that the media and other fanbases have complained about running up the score, and we are NOT complaining like that.

Yep. Because we as a fan base have high self-esteem and don't need safe spaces when our feelings are hurt.

I didn’t get that impression. They took their starters out on defense.

To be fair we did run it up in 07.

Slightly different point, but yeah. Worst thing about this game was that the Pats D came out like the last thing in the world they wanted to do was play a football game.

Don't get me wrong, this team, and particularly the defense, needs a serious talent infusion. But even worse than that was--look, we've all seen cold weather games. Grind it out, low scoring. The Bills looked like it was 70 degrees and sunny out there. The Pats looked like they wanted to climb under a blanket with some hot cocoa.

It’s been 15 years. People are really still butthurt about that media narrative?

The Bills players called our players puzzies. That's not right...we should all write letters to Goodell to complain...maybe we can get John Harbaugh to join us...

Well, it’s come up since then, but no, not butthurt. Just glad that nobody here is whining about running up the score, and very little whining about the refs.

Heh. Only one guy whined about the refs. The rest of us were smart.
