Worst I've been in was -10 in Detroit when I was 13 years old. I've never ran so fast to shelter in my life.

Not that this is news to anybody but the following puts me deep into the old man category. I walked 1.5 miles to middle school one day at -20F. Was dressed properly and lived. Helped that air was still & sun was out pumping several hundred watts/meter on me and temp was rapidly rising.

this is what 8 degrees Fahrenheit looks like in GB…you can see the steam coming out of the mouths of the players. Equivalent to about -13 Celsius. Like Gillette, a very tough place to play on January.

For the fans this must be tough as well

Still if I would arrive then at school I would have done 0 things there , here where I live Bus isn’t driving to school when it’s snowy and kids aren’t going to school then which is ridiculous to your school way

For sure. In GB, there are no seats in the stands, just metal benches like would see at a high school football game. But they drink a lot so that would warm them right up.

Got to -15 or -20 or so up in Park County once. Took about an hour or two for feeling to return to my fingers. I took off my gloves so I could remove the chains on the truck tires. Not smart but wanted to see what it was like.

Had to visit the very top of Mount Mansfield VT (Stowe ski mtn) one winter for work, and wind chill was -40, the operators at the bottom and top of the gondola had us come in to discuss the danger, as we had to walk a pretty far distance once we got up there.
I'd prefer NOT doing that again.

I'm not sure where you are getting that number 54 from? Mahomes has 35 TD passes this season, he'd need to throw 19 TD passes in the last game of the season to reach 54. Even for Mahomes that's really not possible.

This is why you check the date of posts before you reply.

I wrote that on Oct 11. Through 5 games Mahomes had 16 TDs. Which would have put him on pace for 54.

Obviously, he slowed down since then.
