Bill Belichick appreciation thread

BB the ultimate troll

BB even hinted at what he was going to do in the pregame presser and buffaho still couldn't stop them. 10 in the box and still got ran over!

Why didn't they do this yesterday?

snap counts: I wonder if going forward we will see less of Bryant out there...not much depth behind him though....

Yeah Myles Bryant was kind of exposed last Saturday night, but unfortunately he was Completely Exposed yesterday… Just a terrible, Terrible “performance “ from him…

There had actually been people here deluded enough to consider him as a viable candidate to eventually start at FS for us… To those poor souls: For the love of Ganja, please put down the dam kool-aid.

McDaniels didn't get interviews at Jax and LA so we've got continuity with Mac and McD going into next season, as long as the Bears don't come calling.

This is a very good thing.

Because they knew that with better conditions the Bills would score more than 10 points
We did some things very well on Sunday; and we missed converting some plays we needed

I really prefer running the ball instead of throwing to a double covered Harry.

is it? I doubt it, lets not make McD better than he is, without TB it does not look that great for him
worst offenses in the league with the Rams and Broncos under his belt

Have you had a look at what's going on with the Jets, Bears, Jags? Rookie QBs are not doing well. McD has Mac playing 10x better than the guys drafted ahead of him. Hell, Cam newton was replaced by Sam Darnold. It's a miracle we won 7 games last year.

The pats are winning because of defense and run game. If the pats defense was even average they would be 6-11

You guys seriously underestimate the work that McD has done with Mac Jones.

Its not like Mac is doing pretty well now when it counts either. Next to Mac being by far the most NFL ready rookie when it comes to understanding the game in front of him McD did not really elevated his play in my view (say Goff under McVay). The RZ issues are still there and this is more on the OC who is not helping to get everyone involved to their strengths.

Congrats to Coach Belichick

After todays victory vs the Jaguars, Bill Belichick has become the second coach in NFL history to achieve twenty 10+ win seasons... 19 of them have been in New England, combined with a lone 11-5 season during his time in Cleveland... He is tied with don "died with dirty diapers" shula... one more 10+ win season, and he surpasses shula in this particular category...

Job well done coach

Maybe there'll be a power outage or something and the game will end in a tie.

Nah I want us to win. We're 2-1 at SoFi, and as long as we're 3-1 at the end of the night on February 13 all the rest is secondary to me.

Unless I'm there with you, in which case of course everything including sports and whatever is a distant second.
I don't see any way around GB for TB, not with all their missing or injured players.

If the Pats win the SB they'll probably have to beat GB with a great QB and the best active HC with a 39-9 career record and a .809 winning %.

I feel like we should have done more with Patterson. We in effect were the first team to re-invent Patterson by starting to use him as a rusher as well. See his career below. The most carries he had before coming to us was 13, on sweeps. We gave him 42 carries and used him in a different way. That has allowed Chicago and then Atlanta to see the tape and use him as well giving him 64 carries last year, and now already 133 carries in 13 games. That versatility has allowed him to stay on field longer and has gotten him more involved in the passing game as well. He has 500+ yards both catching and receiving. I think he would have been perfect for us if we kept using him more instead of jettisoning him. He only cost $3m on a 1 year deal for Atlanta so not like he was expensive.

It's better to let a player go five years too early than a year late.

BB said it again yesterday after the game. “It’s about the players. Players win games. I’ve coached a lot of good and great players so I’ve been lucky that way”.

He’s right.

If BB wins the SB this year, in the context of losing HoF talent and in turn-around time, it will go down as the greatest rebuild in professional sports history.

Only other time that comes close is 1988-1990 Edmonton Oilers.
I think the 2000-2001 Pats was a better turnaround thanks to Mo Lewis.

Bill is 4 games under .500 without TB. Like I said, it's about the players, not the coaches. Is Matt LaFleur the new GOAT because he has a .809 winning %?

Simple thoughts are the extent of your comprehension. Go back to your nap old man.
