This has an opening post with good commentary and information, which we definitely recommend reading.

it doesn't matter if you respect their coach or not, he happens have beaten the snot out of coach Bill 3/4 times, 2 in a row at Gillette. the last 2 games not played in a tornado the Patriots have not belonged on the same field as Buffalo. this is not an indictment on Jones either. it's an indictment on the coach because his style of defense does not work anymore in the NFL, especially against a quarterback as talented with his arm and legs as Josh Allen. And they will be playing Allen for the next 10 years at least two times a year
The style of defense that allows the fewest points doesn’t work any more? Wtf?

This thread didn't age well...
There is a small bit of irony that this thread started critcizing the Bills for losing to the Colts and ceding the division to us when in all likelyhood we lost the division because of back to back losses to the Colts and Bills. Right now both those teams have to be considered the the scariest in the AFC.

The team no one wants right now is the Colts.

100%

beat us, the bills, Arizona and played the Bucs very close @ home in the last four weeks.

chiefs might get home field but I think Colts, Bulls and Titans (when healthy) will be one of the teams coming out of the AFC.

Ya sure, just ignore that KC has won its last 8 and has scored 30-40 points 10 times this year. They are going to crush everyone in the AFC playoffs.

It’s wild how quickly things change in the NFL.

That win streak is comprised of the Giants, Raiders (2x), Broncos and Steelers.

They also played the Packers without Aaron Rodgers and the Cowboys in a funk.

i’m not saying they’ll be a pushover. I’m just saying I’m not sure I am that much more worried about them now than I was in week six.

The only team I really do not want to play is the Colts.

The Colts are the AFC team people should be afraid of in the playoffs. If the Titans beat Miami, the Colts are likely a wildcard team and some division winner is going to feel like they went through all that for a bad match up.

Very true Green Cow...congrats on your win yesterday...its amazing how things change so fast.....hoping we can meet again in the playoffs...that would be fun!!!!!

i’m rooting for that. I think it would be a great grudge match.

If they win the next 2 on the road against quality opponents, then we'll know for sure. As of now, they've been consistent in winning 9 out of their last 10, which no one else outside Green Bay can claim. They are the favorite to win the AFC.
Bear in mind this is where they've been for the last 4 years now, they know what they're doing.

the style of defense that had a chance to make a stop to win a game or get the ball back for a chance to win vs Tampa, Dallas, Miami, New Orleans and Buffalo in the 4th quarter...ALL FAILED MISERABLY! yes, it does not work vs good teams w good coaches and competent quarterbacks....this defense is Boogeymen Part Deux until they make a stop in the 4th
IIRC the defense made some big plays vs SD, at buf and vs Houston (yippee), and that's it...so they are far under .500 in gotta have it situations, which is a CLEAR indictment on the coach's defensive philosophy

They are the #1 defense in the NFL in points allowed.
they are #3 in takeaways.
The style of defense they play allows less points than anyone and takes the ball away as much as almost anyone.
Name the defenses you think are better.

Josh Allen is a bad bad man. I don't look forward to seeing him again if it happens.
