That’s not rewriting history. That Allen’s career arc so far should be in any way compared to Mac’s possible one.

I never understood why people think that if this QB does this then he will be this. Oh look Mac jones has similar stats to Brady his first year so he will be Brady, thats not how it works. Some QB's start like a house on fire depending on where they go, some dont, some become great, some dont. Some pretty much stay the same.
based on what? buffalo has won 3/4 and blow out the Pats 2x in that spanDisagree
Exactly. RG3 as well. All time QB's dont grow on trees. Its rare. Not everyone that comes out that does not completely suck does not become greats that win superbowls.Baker Mayfield threw 27 TDs and 14 picks in 15 games as a rookie and every Browns fan believed they had finally reached the promised land. Things can change fast.
So?based on what? buffalo has won 3/4 and blow out the Pats 2x in that span
That’s just a factual observation @captain stoneThe Bills only have to lose one by the way if the Pats beat Jacksonville and Miami

it doesn't matter if you respect their coach or not, he happens have beaten the snot out of coach Bill 3/4 times, 2 in a row at Gillette. the last 2 games not played in a tornado the Patriots have not belonged on the same field as Buffalo. this is not an indictment on Jones either. it's an indictment on the coach because his style of defense does not work anymore in the NFL, especially against a quarterback as talented with his arm and legs as Josh Allen. And they will be playing Allen for the next 10 years at least two times a yearSo?
I don’t respect their coach, and don’t see Allen as some generational quarterback. Heckuva game today for sure.
The Patriots were never in this game. even at 7-7 it felt like a monumental struggle. they needed a defense that did not make the other team punt to come up with stops on Buffalo's final possession for a chance to win the game. everything was easy for Buffalo and everything was yeoman's work for the PatriotsYou considered today's game a "blowout"? No, it wasn't.

Well we’ll see how it goes I guesshis style of defense does not work anymore in the NFL
You considered today's game a "blowout"? No, it wasn't.
It might not be a "blowout" but it wasn't close. We were never in it.
Jackson catches the INT and it's a different game. That's close. It might not be a "blowout" but it wasn't close. We were never in it.

What? You don't consider 21-26 in the fourth quarter close or being "in it"?
Jackson catches the INT and it's a different game. That's close.
