It's only year 1 of the deal, I'd reserve judgment on that one. He'll be here at least a couple more seasons, we'll know by then.
He was clearly benched in this game. Release him. Can’t be trusted as a “foxhole” buddy.

Harry was the closest thing to a waste of space. The Bills CB got in his face. Absolutely no fear of his speed, or lack thereof.

This team has needed an outside speed merchant for years now on the perimeter to stretch the defense.

Bill’s error in drafting a slow-footed guy when there were a bevy of much faster guys at the position is a huge mistake still plaguing the team.

On players who suck, you should just type "ibid" or "ditto" for brevity sake. We will know who you mean.

I enjoy typing it all out, thanks though. Also love replying with more detail if one wants to talk about it more.

At least I didn't get banned from the GDT. I have that going for me...

Brutal day for the defense as mentioned. Fecking brutal. Needed a turnover or 2. Got zilch.
You have been reported for complaining.

As others have said, it's a tough loss but the Pats are still likely to make the postseason. Even if they win next week but lose to Miami, they have a good chance of making it as the 7 seed (right behind Miami who would take the 6 seed)

I was pulling for Bryant. His tipped pass to save a TD recently was impressive. But today he was torched. I have to go back and see if it was something correctable, maybe a flaw in the scheme or plays that Buffalo picked up on film. And Godchaux and Bentley still suck.
Godchaux is especially disappointing. Bentley lacks the physical tools but looks to be trying at least.

Though being run over by the diminutive Devin Singletary for a TD makes me question even that.

I think, it’s just that his arm strength is below average And he’s getting exposed having to play in so many obvious passing downs.

A roster ideal for playing power run, big personnel smash mouth offense, with an oc obsessed with returning to weak crappy spread offense. And a hard-on for NKeal Harry's instagram workouts.

Wrong time to be going backwards. Probably still squeak in, but if they continue playing like this they're getting bounced first round.

Better team won today. Bills are who the Patriots want to be in about 2 years. Jones looks like a rookie (also looks a bit hurt).

Pats need some LBs. Don't lose JC and find another man-corner. Hate that freaking soft zone.

Whatever. We beat JAX next week week and MIA and make the playoffs
Like we beat Miami early in the season? The way this team has been playing lately they could lose to any team
Buffalo is the better team in 2021, got lucky to hold on in the win. Hopefully we sweep them next year.
If JC holds onto that pick we probably sweep them this year. It works both ways.

Garrett Gilbert after a week with the WTF team:

20/31 194 yards, 2 sacks, No INTS, No TDs

Mac Jones today:

14/32 145 yards, 2 sacks, 2 INTs, No TDs

Godchaux and Bentley suck. Should have been obvious since preseason. Or when they gave up 270 rushing yards. Or 225 rushing yards. Still have homers here who refuse to see it despite both film and hard numbers.

We need Mac to be the best QB he can be and hope it’s top 10 level in the NFL. If Allen is higher than that, we need to find other ways to beat him, but you can win with a top 10 QB. I know everyone is down on him now, but the offense *did* respond to the first two 2nd half Buffalo drives with TDs. No, Mac didn’t lead it the way other QBs have. But he didn’t mess it up either.
I agree. So much depends on team building. Allen has shown he can improvise like crazy, can make people miss on the ground, can make all the throws on schedule and off. Mac can/will improve, but a high bar is being set. I think we'll need to out-develop the Bills to get back to taking AFCE titles. BUF is kind of moving through their window, but our FA spending means we can't count on just buying our way to the top. We gotta hit on FA, drafting, trades, everywhere. Our LBs are old and slow, it really showed today.

I don't see Mac ever being a top ten QB. Hope I am wrong.

There's a good chance we can still be the 6th seed - and play at BUF in the wildcard game.
There's nothing that shows we could win that. It'll be a one and done in the playoffs no matter what happens.
It's a good learning season - as most expected before it began. It's just that the unexpected win streak got people high on hopes.
Smith and Agholor were huge wastes of FA $. But the draft class was good, and with some IR help coming back, and a #1 WR we could take another step - with Mac getting a full offseason. However - if JMD moves on, and Mac has to start over with a new OC, that could hurt.

Whenever Godchaux comes in I notice bad things happen on a fairly consistent basis.

What are the coaches seeing?
