Didn't I read on this forum that he's been nursing an injury?
Not sure. He was good in the chargers game and I haven’t been impressed otherwise, plus he’s put the ball on the ground twice in only 24 returns.

If there was then the Biden attorneys would have used it in their mandate case. You know, the topic of the effectiveness of the vaccine in preventing transmission and instead of citing a study or fact, or even theory, they said there is no proof.

PS. 6th Circuit overturned the judge's order. You need a new talking point.

I was hoping for big things from Gunner as a JE11 replacement. but, he just doesn't get many opportunities, and has not show clutch ability at WR. However, if he's following the JE path - he might have a chance to breakthrough next year. Maybe we'll get a glimpse Sun.

It’s been appealed, but it doesn’t change the fact that Biden’s attorneys admitted there is no evidence of the effectiveness of the vaccine in preventing transmission.

Both of you can take you convo to PMs please. No need to discuss this in this totally unrelated thread.

Good morning everyone.....getting you ready for a Thursday:

At this point I'd rather see what Guns can do as a DB

I don’t think winning the award enters into Belichicks decision making band gunner hasn’t been an all pro punt returner this year.
Not that im saying cut him but a one year award vote isn’t the reason.
I think that has more to do with overall performance of the return team. Special Teams have had issues this year. Three blocked punts? Really?

It’s hard to say the punt returner not doing well is because the punting team has had blocked punts.

True, but I would have to agree that special teams hasn't generally wowed me much yet this year. If my memory serves me correctly, Gunner was netting some decent, if un-spectacular, plus yardage on punt returns on average earlier in the season but it feels as if that has trailed off a bit recently. Unsure if the stats back that up.

He had a good game against the chargers but hadn’t impressed me otherwise. Putting the ball in the ground and making some questionable decisions. I haven’t seen him get yards that weren’t there for the taking due to blocking.
While I disagree that the quality of other units applies to punt return, the blocking is a huge part of the equation in the stats. I’m just assessing his success in relation to the blocking.

Having said that - his contributions as a blocker are significant and if Harris is available for this game as well as we expect, that might be even more important.

Harry’s blocking was unraveled by the Clots, and I’m sure it will be just as ineffective vs the Billdos too.

Hopefully they're being cautious with Rham. I think he'll have to be active on Sun, but I wouldn't be surprised if Harris plays the whole first half (presuming his hammy holds up).
I'm also interested to see Wilkerson in Bourne's role (presuming Bourne can't clear testing in time)
I'd like to see Gunner get some serious reps too and see if he can provide something. JE didn't breakout till his 5th year, so Gunner still has time at the end of his 3rd. In the same vein, maybe JJ can offer a different spark. I think we need to see new/unexpected things on O this time of year to prepare for playoffs.
But this is a game I really want to see Meyers and Henry (and Smith) impose their will. No excuses. Just show that you're the better guy!
