The run defense sucks, stop defending it. Gave up 270 yards, 100 yards, 220 yards the last 3 games.

.

I wouldn't call it elite, but it sure doesn't suck. The Pats' D got punched in the mouth in the 1st half but responded in the 2nd half and fought back. To my eye, the Pats' D was equally/more physical than the Colts' offense in the 2nd half.

Strongly disagree at least pertaining to Pats DLine. Look at the 4th quarter. Lawrence Guy makes a superhuman play on 3rd down stopping Godchaux's gap assignment because Godchaux is always blown off the line. Didn't matter as the Colts ran again on 4th down right at Godchaux and got it.

It's so easy to game plan and just say, where is Godchaux lined up? Run it right at this schmuck. Every single time.

Then you're deaf, dumb and blind because the lack of calls against Indy was as much of a factor as anything else in the game.
Sure, whatever you say homer. The Colts outplayed the Pats from the get go. on defense, on offense, on special teams. They came with a game plan and executed it at will:
1. Stop the Pats run. Check
2. Force Mac to beat them. Check
3. Run the ball down Pats throats. Check
4. Win TO battle. Check
5. Control the clock. Check

Their ST blocked kick for a TD was icing on the cake. You can claim the Pats gave the game away all you want, but the Colts came prepared and outplayed us. Stop whining like a Chefs fan about refs.

Double post

I’m sure Tennessee got a good laugh at the amount we paid Jonnu. And before people jump on this post let me point out that I think free agency was a win. Judon, Henry, Bourne have been as advertised and more. Just simply stating that Jonnu isn’t playing to the level of his contract.

This isn't Jonnu's fault at all. Never made sense to sign 2 expensive TEs for a specific oc who has no clue how to use 2 tight ends and wants to always run a 3 WR crappy spread shotgun offense.

They QB sneaked the ball on 4th down, just like they did several times throughout the game. It takes a village.

Godchaux got off a block and made a big play to stop Taylor in the 2nd quarter; I doubt you'll mention that.

Overall the run defense and the defense in general was good enough for the Pats to win. They lost because they turned the ball over, gave up a special-teams touchdown, and spotted the Colts 3 points after jumping offside.

The 4 game stretch of Buffalo, Tennessee, Indy and Buffalo, I was hoping for a 2-2 split. I’m hoping we go 3-1 now. Beat Buffalo at home next week, and the division belongs to the Pats.

I think we all need to remember this is a rebuilding year. I didn’t think they would be SB contenders THIS year, so to be 9-5, have had a 7 game win streak, and have a chance to wrap up the division next week, well I couldn’t ask for much more, this has been a really enjoyable season so far. I’m not into moral victories, but I was really impressed how the Pats fought back tonight. To be down 20-0, and get it to 20-17, well that’s extremely impressive, especially with a rookie QB.

The Harry play was both pass interference (contact was absolutely before the ball) and a helmet to helmet. They missed both.
Missing it and calling it are two different things..

A QB sneak will ALWAYS work if Godchaux is at nose tackle. Imagine a nose tackle with zero football strength at the point of attack.

I wondered how long it was going to take. . . .

His post made sense. What are you not understanding?
Well for one, he didn’t answer the question…anyways I went and looked it all up. Devin about $11M cap hit this year and will be $6.5M in dead money next after his contract auto voids after this season. So there’s $4.5M. Then Hightower $12.5M cap hit this season and off the books next so $17M total reduction for both. Nice chunk of change.

And look at that, I was able to do all that without calling anyone a troll or telling someone to **** off!

Those aren't mutually exclusive ideas.

It's possible for the Colts to play really well, and for the Patriots to play really poorly, simultaneously. The Pats played particularly poorly and the Colts played particularly well. Both things are simultaneously true. If the Colts didn't play as well, or if the Pats didn't have a clunker, the outcome may have been different.

I want to see these guys again. Bring it.

Your response doesn’t make sense. You seem to be so focused on calling me a troll and going the **** away that your weren’t coherent. Sorry I hurt your feeling.

My response was coherent and makes PERFECT sense if you knew a damn thing about the Salary Cap, McCourty's contract and the void years that were added. Maybe you should focus on the game that was just played and this season instead of next season. Then you wouldn't have to worry about being called a TROLL for posting such an asinine comment.
