Game Day Thread Official Post Game Thread- Colts beat the Pats

THIS IS OUR LIVE GAME DAY THREAD:

This is where we gather to follow things on Game Day. Obviously, emotions tend to be high so if anyone gets a little crazy, the use of the “Mute” button is encouraged on anyone who may be annoying to you to control your experience and to allow the moderators to also enjoy the game.

At the same time, please take a deep breath before over-reacting for the sake of making this a pleasant experience for everyone.

Health is a big issue now. Harry sucks but him, aghalor, and Harris being giant question marks on offense for next week isn’t good.

Run defense remains a problem. Run defense has given up 270 yards, 100 yards, 220 rushing yards tonight.

1. Bentley sucks (he was there when the Colts ran for 70 yards on their first drive), Collins and Van Noy should always play over Bentley.

2. Godchaux is NOT a nose tackle, Godchaux SUCKS. Defensive line isn't good when Barmore isn't leading snaps. Even Hightower's missed tackle was over-compensating for how crappy Godchaux is.

3. Offensive red zone remains clueless. The Mac-Smith off-field BBQ connection is the only thing that works.

4. 3 blocked punts is worst in the league.

I’m surprised the defense struggled so badly against a one dimensional offense.

Jonathan Taylor is the most overrated player in the NFL. Seems like a good guy and he’s a solid running back, but he does nothing special and the offensive line is 80% of the production.

I don't get how this team has so many special team miscues this year. This has been a point of emphasis by BB for so long, that is the most disappointing aspect of the game tonight. That blocked punt was a killer. Secondly the run D has to improve fast, all season they have been up and down and today we could not overcome it as Mac made some rookie mistakes ! Frustrating game but hopefully they rebound next week.

You can't deny the pats got their **** **** handed to them.

Just use it as a learning lesson, win out, take that number 2 seed and hope someone beats the cheifs before we gotta deal with that.

Not the end of the world.
I hate this kind of talk. Beat whoever comes your way. You won't have a lollipop waiting for you in the Super Bowl.

Another NYFL ref job. Bolden not out of bounds and a free path to the endzone, countless helmet to helmet hits not called, straight call from NY on the Duggar ejection when Pittman was throwing punches and his helmet was loose. Indy had 1 non-offsetting penalty the whole game.
Yea, that's not why we lost. At all.

Stupid call on the FG instead of TD killed our momentum and that was the end.

nice to get the second TD but it was never going to happen by that point.

****ing penalties didn’t help, stupid false starts every time we’re in a crucial position.
The very mistakes you point out are the reason they went backwards and opted for 3.

The D kept plugging away. Felt like the long TD drive & that one TD run at the end were the only sore spots for them.

redzone pick + blocked punt : killers.

What a disgrace. :(

Also, can someone explain to me the Harry hit? I wasn't able to watch much of the broadcast, and I don't have sound, but I don't understand how that wasn't DPI. Looked like the ball hadn't arrived yet. What did they say about it in game?

To me it was close for DPI, but clearly a personal.

2 missed headshot personal fouls. the NFL is just going to put the flags away in an effort to keep the last weekend's games mean something. the first half was complete garbage. I still can't believe they gave up that long td. that was a complete and utter embarrassment.
at least Jones showed balls. the lack of wr depth screwed them once Harry went out. Buffalo has a cupcake schedule and will go 4-0 if they beat the Pats. the division race is not over by a long shot.

I always think Jerome Boger is the worst ref in the league, but I always forget about this human filth, Cheffers.

Gonna be one or two "no penalty in game, but a fine" situations

Mac was definitely off tonight. Behind on throws or just complete misses. Definitely a learning game for him.

Pats aren't winning in KC with how they couldn't even handle Indy noise.

We weren't winning out last 15 games so this loss doesn't really matter.

GOod chance we'll see Indy again in a few weeks
