Run defense remains a problem. Run defense has given up 270 yards, 100 yards, 220 rushing yards tonight.
1. Bentley sucks (he was there when the Colts ran for 70 yards on their first drive), Collins and Van Noy should always play over Bentley.
2. Godchaux is NOT a nose tackle, Godchaux SUCKS. Defensive line isn't good when Barmore isn't leading snaps. Even Hightower's missed tackle was over-compensating for how crappy Godchaux is.
3. Offensive red zone remains clueless. The Mac-Smith off-field BBQ connection is the only thing that works.
Losses to Indy never feel good. I think the team turned things in the right direction after nearly everything went the wrong way for them. I like the resolve I saw.
I’m surprised the defense struggled so badly against a one dimensional offense.
Jonathan Taylor is the most overrated player in the NFL. Seems like a good guy and he’s a solid running back, but he does nothing special and the offensive line is 80% of the production.
I don't get how this team has so many special team miscues this year. This has been a point of emphasis by BB for so long, that is the most disappointing aspect of the game tonight. That blocked punt was a killer. Secondly the run D has to improve fast, all season they have been up and down and today we could not overcome it as Mac made some rookie mistakes ! Frustrating game but hopefully they rebound next week.
Another NYFL ref job. Bolden not out of bounds and a free path to the endzone, countless helmet to helmet hits not called, straight call from NY on the Duggar ejection when Pittman was throwing punches and his helmet was loose. Indy had 1 non-offsetting penalty the whole game.
Also, can someone explain to me the Harry hit? I wasn't able to watch much of the broadcast, and I don't have sound, but I don't understand how that wasn't DPI. Looked like the ball hadn't arrived yet. What did they say about it in game?
2 missed headshot personal fouls. the NFL is just going to put the flags away in an effort to keep the last weekend's games mean something. the first half was complete garbage. I still can't believe they gave up that long td. that was a complete and utter embarrassment.
at least Jones showed balls. the lack of wr depth screwed them once Harry went out. Buffalo has a cupcake schedule and will go 4-0 if they beat the Pats. the division race is not over by a long shot.
