Is anyone still worried about the Bills?

That ignores the fact that outside of the long TD run, the Patriots only averaged 3.5 ypc.

Now of course the long TD counts. But it shows that the one long run can skew the stats.

Another thing to consider - The Patriots punted on 7 of 9 of their drives.

I hope that Belichick continues to think we can’t stop the run and rams the run down on throats to the tune of 14 points and 7 punts in the second meeting.

You make such good points. After considering your insightful posts we are both shocked and ashamed the Patriots won Monday night, especially with such a flimsy performance as you have expertly pointed out. They truly had no business coming to Orchard Park and doing what they did, considering how long you and your friends have patiently waited for Buffalo to dominate the AFCE. A formal apology to the entire Bills fan base will be forthcoming, please let everyone know.

I think it's funny the Bills would have still lost if Mac threw just 1 pass instead of 3 :D

100% agree

What can one do in the face of such unassailable logic?

he may be more like 10 of 16 or something Like that. I doubt Bill Belichick will open up the offense much more against the bills number one defense.
A #1 Defense that's badly slipping - as three bully teams have run over them.

I thought your Bills were better, but they really played some crappy teams (or okay teams at crappy times for those teams, this year).
Pats had Dallas when they were red hot.
Pats had Tampa Bay, best offense in the league.
Pats had the Chargers in LA.

You guys knocked Tua out early and played the Phins essentially without him first time.
You guys played the Saints without Winston, Kammara or Ingram.
You guys played WFT, the Texans, the Jets, and the Steelers.

Miami and KC, who have swooned offensively the last few weeks, are your other wins.

Pats have had some pretty easy games, too, but have played far better offenses this year. Be honest.

So what's going on over the last few weeks? Tannehill and the Titans laid 34 on you. The Colts took you apart. Your D played well against the Jags, but you lost...

You're 3-4 over the last 7 and the only wins were against the Jets, the Phins, and the hollowed out Saints.

Something's wrong there. You know it.

Lets take your QB's runs out of the equation and your running backs avg 3.2 per game. I told you we can play this what if game all day long.

I'm afraid we might have no choice but to just give up. Give up, and walk away. Too much success over too long a period of time has created a new paradigm upending outsiders' grip on reality.

Thing about that is, Allen's going to get lit up.

Running backs don't have a long shelf life. A stinger in the shoulder can cut short a QB's season. Allen runs like he's immortal. One wrong twisting hit ends Buffalo's season.

The Bills didn’t lose that game, they had more passing yards.
If the Patriots flight to Buffalo was cancelled, no way the Bills lose that game.

If you discount the Jags and Steelers losses because the Bills had two bad days, the Bills would be in first place in the AFC East.

We play in Buffalo but if you discount the weather in Buffalo when it’s bad because we don”t play as well in bad weather, we’re really better than the Patriots.

If Daboll called more plays for Allen . . . If the refs called more penalties against the Patriots . . . If the defense didn't give up that Harris run . . .

The Patriots shouldn’t even show up for the game at Gillette. The Bills are so much better.

You would think the fact that a supposed SB contender losing to the Jags with 6 points was enough a wake up call.

But then they come in and lose at home with a QB throwing 3 times.

Now, this is 2 historically bad losses. One, it can happen to a great team, lapses occur. Twice? There are rotten fundamentals surrounding the Bills. Coaching, mentality... Gotta be one these 2 bc quality is obviously there. Allen regressing is another evidence of that

If I were a Bills fan, Id be very very worried

To get back to the thread topic, from the looks of their fan base through the local representative, yeah I am worried about the Bills :D

Did somebody get his belt and shoelaces?

Especially with them having to face their "daddy" this weekend on the road... What is Brady 32-3 against them?? 2003,2011,2014 and one of those was a week 17 game where he only played the first half... A bad loss and this could spiral .... A coach calling out his players publicly and players getting real testy.... Pass the popcorn...

Yep. Come the 2nd Pats game they have a legitemate shot at being .500 (albeit small give Carolina's recent form). And yet, over at the Bills Forum, they still think they are world-beaters "in a good day"

The interior of both their lines is also very average. At best. They need to fix that if they want to take the next step forward.

None of their backs are on pace for a 750 yard season. Damien Harris has already passed that mark and he didn’t even play all 13 games. Take away Allen scrambles on pass plays and their team YPC is only 4.1.

Their running game has regressed big time. Maybe because of their OL…
