Is anyone still worried about the Bills?

I think we can beat the Bills at home in a few weeks, especially with Mac being able to throw the ball. However, I'd hate to see the Bills in the playoffs since it's tough to beat a team 3 times in a single season.

It wasn't a knuckle ball. It was a perfectly thrown spiral.

It was a good throw. The ball will dance in that wind. It just does. I have trouble faulting a WR for that play. Perfect weather, that is a bad drop. It was an excellent throw, but the ball dances all over the place in that type of wind. It just does. It's why running was a better option that day.

It is not a knock on the heroic Allen. Wonderful throw. I might give him a reach around were I a Bills fan. But throwing comes with many perils in high winds. That is one of them. Even the most accurate throws are extremely tough to catch.

That's baloney.

Players get hit all the time, you're still expected to catch it.

I was thinking of the one in the end zone. I thought that was Knox.

This one should have been caught but I wouldn't go that far to say it was a difference maker that would have flipped the outcome.

Our run game was good but take out the 64 yard touchdown run we had exactly a 3.5 yard average. Yeah, I know you can't be pulling plays out here and there but to say we "ran all over them" seems a bit exaggerated to me. Run game was great, but that was a little close for comfort and had we lost the game the tone would be VERY different on here regarding the game plan.

Sure, the circumstances were right for this type of game, but next game will be completely different when the passing game is going to be in play and Allen is very dangerous as a passer. So this doesn't convince me that we are the superior team to the Bills at all.

I dont think ive ever been more confident in a Bills win than the Bills winning at Gillette in a few weeks.

Knowing all it took for the Pats to win by 4 points in that hurricane...

Pats will have their best tackling safety back for that game. I also wouldn't expect a no-pass offense. This was a one-off.

Bills run game was surprisingly a non factor. The Bills ran great against us last year but last night not really. I was expecting way more than that output against a team that gave up 270 the week before. If the Bills can't run against us they're going to have a hard time.

It would have been a first down in Patriot territory.

But that was just an example.

Perhaps you should go back and read my post.

I literally ended it with "But the Bills didn't deserve to win. Period. They sucked."

As far as Diggs, how much more perfect of a throw could you get?

This is pathetic the level you're going to in order to excuse Diggs dropping that.View attachment 38461

I haven't even mentioned the PI that wasn't called...

Whining about the Refs.

proof of sub-mongoloidism right there...this idiot must be in a facility for the severely brain damaged.

The Patriots passing more is part of what makes me so confident.

And I dont see the Bills dropping 5 passes, including 2 (or 1 if you want to call it a PBU) TD's.

Saw that stat earlier when someone was praising Belichick. A reporter pointed out that outside of the one homerun TD, the Bills shut the Pats run offense down.

That was not a great coached game.

We'll see.

Last night told us absolutely nothing about how the Bills pass defense looks without Tre White. Sunday will though.

Agreed. No point arguing about it because it will come soon enough.

Feels like 2003 again. I think i saw the phrase ‘im not that impressed with the patriots ‘ for 14 or so wins in a row suddenly they were champions. Hopefully see the same fate this year, were at 7 now

The Patriots might use their entire offense in the next game too rather than just half.

But the Jets fan needs to feel better about things for his mental health after that embarrassment. Jets fan? What a fool I am. Bills fan. BILLS FAN. Sorry, so hard to tell them apart even after their one season of dominance last year. What a dynasty.

When it's literally in your arms. No.
This is genuinely shocking to read through this thread and see you continue to say that the wind wouldn’t affect dropped passes. Unbelievable.
Of course it’s significantly harder to track the ball when its flight is unpredictable because of wind. It’s hard to catch it when we don’t know exactly where it will hit as it reaches you, and it’s also harder to gauge when to clamp your hands to catch it (close too early or too late and it’s a drop). The deep ball to diggs hit him in the freaking arm. You think he’s just that uncoordinated, that if a ball travels straight to him, he’ll try to catch it and have it hit his forearm? That’s what catching a football entails- tracking it properly to put your hands/body in the right place and secure it at the exact right time. Lol
And then you credit these to Bills as lucky breaks for the Pats (the pats only won by 4 while the bills dropped these passes!!), while ignoring that if the pats wanted to throw a bunch of passes that their guys would struggle to catch in the wind too, they could have done that as well. Then yay, pats fans could be saying you’re lucky we didn’t score 14 extra points, when in reality it’s just harder to catch in this weather and bill decided to avoid that issue.
(For what it’s worth, I played WR in college in a cold/windy climate. These conditions are harder to catch in, I promise).

No reason to take away plays - that's no different than playing the "if" game - If Harris didn't fumble than we beat Miami, etc. WE could take a bunch of those negative plays away in the 4th quarter and the run average goes up.

Allowing 220+ yards rushing for any reason even when you're one of the best run defenses in the league - and you know the team is going to go run heavy on you- means you didn't stop it. There's no other conclusion.

But I agree, that game plan was and should be a one-off.
