MNF pregame thread: Pats @ Buffalo

Too many people jumping on the pats bandwagon for this game. dont like it much. Buffalo is a very good team.

I think it's because one of these teams is trending and frankly has nothing to lose as they've exceeded all expectations.

Buffalo, on the other hand, has much more to lose.

The Buffalo Bills are a textbook example of how QB purgatory can really suck. Would love if the Pats can avoid it (and so far I like their chances)

After they benched Flutie and until Josh Allen these were the Bills starting QBs through the years

Rob Johnson
Alex Van Pelt
Bledsoe
JP Losman - 1st round pick drafted 22nd overall
Trent Edwards - 3rd round pick
Fitz. Might be the best 7th round pick of all time. Maybe the best of this group.
EJ Manuel - 1st round pick drafted 16th overall
Brian Brohm
Thad Lewis - UDFA
Jeff Tuel - UDFA
Tyrod Taylor
Nathan Peterman for 4 games
Derek Anderson
Matt Barkley

I thought Matt Leinart got some starts for them too but I guess he was just a backup there.

Oof. Still don't get why they got rid of Bledsoe he had them on the verge of the playoffs.
Johnson was a one game wonder. Like Matt Flynn but worse and more injury prone.

I think this is the game the Pats show they are legit. Losing Duggar hurts. But getting Colin's back should help.

Bills lost their best corner. That should be an advance for the Patriots offense

This is why fans of other teams are pissed.

Technically pats found 2 guys who can win in the NFL in their system. Jimmy G and now Mac Jones

Will you settle for the return of Harvey Langi?

I see what the media department did here...

While Buffalo’s had it bad (serves them right for benching Flutie who did nothing but win), you’ve made me pull up the jersey.

One of these days, we will see a perfect game from the offense. Hoping for this week, but the weather gives me pause for concern.
If it's true that the Bills' rushing offense is ordinary, I hope it's hellishly blustery to put a damper on passing. It'd also mitigate the loss of Dugger (?)

Well the pats and bills have roughly the same amount of rushing stats, so if its ordinary, then....

Jimmy G has not played here in years, I think he started two games when he was here, not sure he would be on the examples. With that said, we do not know what Mac is going to be, other teams have had two hall of famers back to back, so the pats didnt corner the market on having a pretty good QB replace a QB who left.

Why would Buff have anymore to lose than the pats?
