I would guess he's not back for this week, they'll probably take it slow with him considering he's already had one set back this year. But if no one else gets hurt, what they do after that will be very interesting to see.

I like our current config. It’s been working. But BB praised Brown a LOT as a leader and such this summer. I wonder if he still feels the same now…

I don't have any numbers to back this up, but it feels like the vast majority of players who return to practice from IR aren't activated that first week. Some are, but since the line has played pretty well the last few weeks, I doubt they're pushing him to play is all I'm saying. Whatever's been going on with him to this point really is anyone's guess, but if this was the first day he was well enough to practice, nothing they've done with him to this point really matters. The clock starts now.

It's possible, and I mean I'm sure he's been rehabbing, but this is the first day he's been present for practice since going on IR.

EDIT: And because he's not technically on the 53 man roster, they don't have to report his participation level, so we have no idea if he was full, limited, or really didn't do any drills at all.

this was never going to be a quick recovery type injury... the dude has a bad calf, is pushing 400 pounds, and for a guy who plays his position, that particular muscle group is like a hammy to a running back...

This would be a great week to have him back. Brian Burns is telling other defensive ends "happy hunting" on Mac Jones, and the Browns have Myles Garrett. It'd be a very appropriate week to swap Wynn out for big old Mr. Brown.
