If you didn't catch who tackled Gilmore on his interception return...

... It was Mac Jones, slows him down solo until some teammates converged. This dude has some heart. Saw this on Reddit.

I would rather he just stay away from that. Thats how the browns Qb got hurt.

See how he twisted Gilmore’s body on that attempt, too??? Another dirty play by a dirty Patriot player!!!! <sarcasm>
Let me ask you a question. Lets say next week Baker throws a pick from a linebacker or something, and baker grabs Jacksons let and starts twisting it and jackson gets hurt. You ok with that?

How about you ask that question in the relevant thread (the one on the front page basically right next to this one) and not here? Four posts deep and we're already trying to derail the thread into an argument about something unrelated...

T-Minus three minutes before a certain unnamed poster suggests he take all of Bentley's snaps.
At least Mac got hands on him and held on. Some of the bad tackles I've seen the Pats make this year were less "tackles" and more like "bumping into the opposing player with moderate force".

I would chuckle if Bill saves this clip and uses it in the future after a game is lost due to bad tackling. "For gods sake, the quarterback knows how to tackle, why can't you? What are we doing?"

Your schtick is getting old. Yeah it's true I don't like Bentley, Mills, or Godchaux. But I love how you think about me when I'm away. You're right, maybe I should stop writing about the defense and go back to pointing out how crappy the oc is. Or just put me on ignore, I honestly could care less.

That dude needs to chill, I love his enthusiasm, but I'd rather see him not get hurt

Bakers not thay fast, he'll never catch Jackson

I see everyone else tired of his sh*t as well

The 1970's were the worst, and still are

So Gilmore in 2 games with limited snaps has as many INTs as McCourty, Mills, Jones, Bryant, SloJuan & Bethel combined? I miss Gilly.

@Wordsmyth doesn't miss Gilly, would rather have Mills than Gilly. LMFAO

It was a good interception and I tip my cap to Gilmore. Didn't exactly make a difference in the game but still a nice pick. My immediate reaction was that he probably saw the play a couple times in practice these past few years.

Watching in real time, it just looks like a bad throw and an easy pick (and there's some element of truth to both). But what we've heard about Gilmore ever since he got here is that he's a film rat, a guy who gets an edge by knowing what's coming, and often seems to run the route before the receiver does. He definitely deserves credit for anticipation and a good read.

Probably threw a pick in practice and didn't finish the play and nobody whistled it dead, and Bill said "Don't give me a quarterback who can't tackle, what am I gonna do with him?"
