What about smokers? And fatties? And people who engage in unsafe activities like skydiving or riding motorcycles? Why are they so pure but unvaccinated people so evil?
No, sorry, it's not the same thing. The correlation between being vaccinated AGAINST a specific virus and getting said virus is so plainly obvious that comparing it to smoking (which has a million deleterious side-effects beyond lung and throat cancer, or, say, drinking sugary drinks, or eating bad) is a fool's errand. We're not talking about massive lifestyle changes here, or, in the case of bad foods, economic and location considerations. We're talking about a few minutes of someone's life.

It's only about purity in relating a SPECIFIC virus to a simple, free and specific action that is irrespective of addiction or lifestyle.

That's overly simplistic. If you feel blindly following a government organization is good for you, that's fine. I don't. I ask questions.
You ask questions for which you are nowhere near trained, experienced, or (most likely) capable of correctly finding the answers, which can be fed to you in ways to make you believe them as gospel truth without you ever knowing you've been wholly duped.

I like the sentiment but sounds like that it could lead to a slippery slope.

BMI qualifiers for example.
See my answer: there is no comparison to this - not smoking, not weight, not eating crappy food. This is a single virus with a single, easy, and free solution.

He’s a healthy young adult with no co morbidities, he researched then applied it to his individual health, He got it, he recovered and his immunity is at least on par with vaccine induced immunity for a virus with 99% survivability rate.

He's on the McAfee show and pretty much just said he will keep the comments to himself on the situation moving forward and he did take responsibility for misleading the media about his status. Looked like the backlash did get to him

Everything can lead to a slippery slope. That can't be an argument. As a society, we have to decide on reasonable standards.

He "researched"... He called ****ing Joe Rogan and got on horse dewormer.

Because they are addicted to something, which is a disease.....not getting vaccinated is very much a choice.
Weaksauce.

Smoking is a choice - one which, I might add, has negative health consequences for anyone in the vicinity. Overeating is a choice. Doing drugs is a choice. Sky diving is a choice. Motorcycle riding is a choice.

But it sure is nice to have people like so eager to tell us which choices are moral and pure, and which are evil and derided.

No, he took something still got sick and took a chance of dying because of his stupidity and selfishness.

Ohhhhhhh.... so if it is "only a few minutes of someone's life" then we punish them by withholding health care... but if it something like smoking which someone does for decades, then they get health care like everyone else.

Yeah that makes sense.

So what about people that engage is statistically risky behavior, such as motor cycle riding and sky diving? If someone gets into a motorcycle accident, why should they get treatment when they so willingly put themselves at high risk?

All I am asking is for some logic and consistency from those who advocate the unvaccinated going to the back of the line. I am still waiting to see just a shred of same.

Don't you have some bat boy or bigfoot to go hunt down? Its a pandemic, I am not sure why you tinfoil hat wearing morons have to make it a political thing that the government is trying to control you becuase they dont want your stupid ass to die. I just dont get it.

Nobody outside of their loved ones care if they die or not. The issue is that their reckless behavior has consequences for A LOT of other people.

From hospital being overloaded, to transmitting the virus to people more at risk, to new variants emerging... that's the real issue.

I do not give a **** if Aaron Rodgers is stupid enough to die of a dewormer overdose. I do care if he transmits the virus to other people or if his dumbass ends up in an hospital, taking a spot another person could have used, when it could easily have been avoided.

He "researched"... He called ****ing Joe Rogan and got on horse dewormer.
Who should he have called? The Pfizer CEO? A doctor from the same medical community who killed and ruined millions of lives prescribing opioids? Or once told us that cigarettes were healthy? Or that saturated fats are bad? The same medical community open to prescribing children with puberty blockers and referrals to surgeons to mutilate their genitals?

And ... despite my best efforts ... here it comes ...

"I misled some people about my status" ???

"Lied" not "misled"

He lied to the media, not just "some people" like his barber.

NJFL seems passionately committed to keeping its fingers in its ears, if not its thumb up its butt.

Aaron went to the Goodell School of Doublespeak.

Do you ask questions about every 5 story building you enter? Every plane you board? How computer chips work? How physics works?

You have to outsource things to experts because there are things you ain't qualified to comment on.
Regarding 5 story buildings: I pass (running away) :feet:

Regarding planes that you board: I pass (running away) :feet:

Regarding how computer chips work: I know more than the typical Holiday Inn Express Visitor but I still pass. :feet: ;)

How Physics works: Explaining that (and hustling research grant funding) is what I do for a living, fire away!

Ah, my bad. I didn't realize you were just an idiot.
