It's easy, and only takes a few moments. The Bills are probably the best D in the league right now and the Browns have the 3rd best running defense. If our RB are Bolden and JJ we could be in trouble.I dunno, the Browns & Bills are comparable, and the Titans are probably better. I'm not as bullish after today's game as I was before it.
The Patriots won, but they didn't do it with #1 WRs...so it's not REALLY a win. Is that what you took from that game? Was Agholor playing?
I've seen holds called in running back a fumble recovery, but in the scrum portion? Not that I can recall.Have you ever seen them call holding on a fumble recovery.
Don't overthink things, chief. Was simply remarking on how little he got involved. The Patriots won, but they didn't do it with #1 WRs...so it's not REALLY a win. Is that what you took from that game?
That's exactly my point. Anything goes it seemsI've seen holds called in running back a fumble recovery, but in the scrum portion? Not that I can recall.
The really late bye stinks, but they get a “mini-bye” soon - play this weekend at home against Cleveland, then a short week traveling to Atlanta for Thursday Night Football, but then after that they’re off for 10 days. Then two games later they get their actual bye.The most reasonable path to the playoffs is 4-0 against the weak teams (ATL, JAX, MIA, IND) and 1-3 against the strong ones (CLE, BUF, BUF, TEN).

Of course, it is probably more likely that we win out after the bye.
Not to be a buzzkill, but I'm getting increasingly concerned, week on week, about how ineffective and off the pace Donta Hightower is. He's a complete passenger at the moment, lacks physicality, he's playing soft and he's lost a yard of pace which is something he was lacking at the best of times.
I know Bentley is a bit of a whipping boy on here, but Hightower is offering next to nothing right now.
It actually is not illegal to pull a guy back who is trying to recover a fumble. That's exactly my point. Anything goes it seems
Some snaps from yesterday's game:
I am so glad to hear this. Since I didn't get to watch the game in Atlanta, I had no way of knowing what happened.Mac was just holding to keep Burns away from the play and Burns rotates himself to try and get out of it. Nothing more than that. Great win
That's good, they need a break. The Browns game is huge, then we have to be careful about the trap game at Atlanta who seems to be playing well lately. Then there's 10 days to rest up for Tennessee, who dominated the Rams in LA last night. The really late bye stinks, but they get a “mini-bye” soon - play this weekend at home against Cleveland, then a short week traveling to Atlanta for Thursday Night Football, but then after that they’re off for 10 days. Good to know.It actually is not illegal to pull a guy back who is trying to recover a fumble.
I don't see how BB can continually leave a RB off the game day roster. These guys are getting dinged up every week.Give JJ Taylor a real chance.
Sure. I have the luxury of being a fan not having to subscribe to the "We are on to Cleveland" mantra. With that said, they could easily drop two out of the next three. I am optimistic that they won't, however. You're skipping a few games there aren't you???
Yeah, definitely a trap game situation - but if they can secure wins against Cleveland and Tennessee, a loss against Atlanta in between won’t hurt as much. Still, every win is important while they’re still jockeying for a wild card spot with a bunch of other teams with the same or very similar records. That's good, they need a break. Yes it is, unless it is during an attempted recovery by the person doing the pulling. It actually is not illegal to pull a guy back who is trying to recover a fumble.
Both were mentioned in the Game Day Thread. And it was Robby Anderson of the Panthers who was yelling at Darnold after the interception in the End Zone.I am surprised that nobody commented on Josh McDaniels ranting at our boy wonder quarterback. He went on and on. It was after that pathetic series by Jones inside the 20 that resulted in a field goal. Also did anyone noticeThe panthers wide receiver screaming at Darnold nn the sideline after his pick?
