Great team win. Great mental-toughness-building 4th qtr by all phases.
BUT... a few big mistakes.
None more grievous than BB's stupid challenge when the hold wasn't even close to the EZ.
JMD - always overthinking.
throwing on 3rd & 4th at the 1 was insane!
going away from the run and throwing consistently in the 3rd qtr when we had momentum.
calling the Bolden draw the 2nd time on 3rd &1, in the exact situation he had just won with it the series before.
Put your big RB's in and pound it for 1!!
Didn’t get to see the game, but man what a win against a good team. You have to think this team has a ****load of confidence now. Two wins in a row for the first time all season. Defense played solid vs an excellent offense. Awesome pick 6. Offense struggled but came through with a clutch key clinching FG. Offensive line is coming around, 5 sacks given up the last 4 games, 10 given up the first 4 games.
They really didn’t play their best, and still beat a good team. That’s a sign of them being a good team in their own right.
I don’t wanna get too excited, they have to keep playing well, or at least better than they did today. But Carolina, Cleveland & Atlanta are beatable. If they can be 7-4 after 11 games, we’ll that would be amazing.
Yup. Jets beat the Bengals today. Bucs lose to Trevor Siemian. Titans (who blew the doors off the Chiefs last week and beat the Bills the week before) need OT to beat the Colts. Bills even with Miami 3-3 at the half. If anyone needed a week to slap them in the face and say "Stop acting co*ky about what you think is going to happen in the NFL" this was it.
And the (defensive-minded) coach who had nothing to do with those 6 SB wins and is old and dotty and should retire already also had nothing to do with this gameplan.
Barmore is a beast.
JC & DMac recovered well after that first drive's mishaps.
Mills did okay in mid-game, but gets stupid in the clutch. He gave up at least 3 big plays on the final 2 drives, including that ridiculous TD catch. He was in perfect position, but jumped about 5 seconds too early and couldn't concentrate on the ball. hate that!
Collins could have had a sack-fumble if he didn't do a lazy whiff on Herbert.
