Week 8 pregame discussion: Pats @ Chargers

This is the first of the decent teams we've faced this year where i have a moderate expectation for us to be able to win.
If we turn it over more than 1x, allow 2+ big plays down the field, or have errors in ST - we'll lose.
But if we play a clean game, get 4+ yds per rush, capitalize on 1-2 turnovers or field position swaps, and get consistent pass rush pressure on Herbert - we'll win.

I've been without electricity for over 24 hours and I'm now connected via my phone (which wasn't working either ????). I read this and my first thought was WTF happened to Mac? Glad I quickly found data on JJ. Cardiac Arrest avoided.

On the plus side, they're promising that our power will be on in the next 72 yours YIKES>

We had no power in Borrington, RI from 6 AM to 6 PM on Wednesday from the windstorm. I have a generator so it wasn't bad until the internet went down at 11 AM and stayed that way for 20 hours. And it was the same for me... no Cox or Verizon (phone) service.

But now all is right with the world. There is nothing better than getting power and/or internet back!

BB has a lot to prove. Yes we have a rookie QB, but BB chose to start the rookie, same as he chose Cam Newton last year. Different QB - same result is not an ACCEPTABLE EXCUSE!

Your record tells you what you are, but it doesn't say anything about what direction you're heading in. The outlook of one 7-10 team can look vastly different from another one.

It was lucky and weird. There was power and internet a mile from here but not here for a half day. I guess that's how it goes.
