With the Yankees trailing 7 to 1 right now, here’s the question for this small but committed group of Red Sox fans here on the Pats board lol:

If the Red Sox make the wildcard game, particularly against the Yankees, do we really want to play it in Fenway? Honestly, it seems like the Yankees and Red Sox are both a little soft this year and whenever either of them have a little success they start to feel the pressure and fold. Part of me thinks it’s better to have it in New York, because the yankees will feel more pressure there. Not to mention Stanton hits like six home runs a game at Fenway

edit: Of course, having asked that question, the wildcard game will be Seattle at Toronto

With a Yankees loss today the Yankees will be forced to start Gerritt Cole tomorrow. I would opt for Yankee stadium as well, knock wood.

I would prefer they play the gimmick game at Fenway. I like them having the last at bat
