Wickersham book discussion

The funny thing is that you think you can evaluate him and tell him how to go his job better.
No you are grasping at straws.

I can evaluate Bill and so can anyone else because his job is based solely on winning. Nothing else. He wins, good job. He loses bad job. Not rocket science

As far as telling him anything, that's a lame attempt to distract from the conversation. I have not nor ever would I claim to know exactly what any HC or GM needs to do.

A message board is meant to discuss. This message board is the PatFans. It's meant to discuss the Pats. If we didn't talk about players, how they fit, play calling, coaching, or anything else football related then this board wouldn't exist.

TB had the luxury of leaving the Pats and going to a stacked team and won the super bowl, hey I rooted for him, I'm a big TB fan and will always be, but BB has to rebuild a roster with a rookie QB to get back there, it's not fair to compare to the two after one year, lets give BB 2-3 years to see what he can do.

Kraft can both dislike BB’s style and personality and love his winning ways. Both can be true.
Especially when the Pats were valued at 460 million in 2000 and valued at 4.4 billion today.

Brady went to a team that had not won a playoff game in 18 years. Stacked teams are not what they used to be I guess. Tampa had the same record the pats did last year the year before Brady got there, 7-9. As far as luxury. He went to the only team that offered him a contract, didnt have an offseason, no training camp, no preseason games on a team that had not even won its own division in 10 years.

Patricia is a fat piece of lard and a horrible coach. Can’t believe we brought eeei eeei ooo spaghettio fat matt back afte he proved himself an awful leader of men

Ask any owner in the history of the NFL if it's harder to replace a Tom Brady/Manning or BB/Harbaugh. Not a single one would choose any GM/coach and that includes Kraft.

Coaches tend to look a lot better with great players. Its weird how that works.

there are fewer good coaches

Pats really lost a Super Bowl because Butler hurt Patricia's feelings and Bill didn't like that. LMAO. I mean...

Kenny Golliday called Patricia the biggest A-Hole he’d ever met and refused to sign with a team Patricia was coaching with

The whole argument is silly, great coaches wouldn't be great without great players and great players like TB and Montana wouldn't be great without great coaches. You can debate which one's more responsible but it's a silly argument. And I wouldn't read Wickershams book if I got it for free.

You can slice it just fine.

The fundamental truth of this dynasty and what is was built on is ensuring only players play that are prepared to play. Those whom are not, don't.

Oh come on…this isn’t your best take.

The dynasty was founded on winning. Getting every edge. Doing everything possible to win every football game.

Preparation is one of the key pillars to support the arch of winning.

But to think that the goal of winning a championship game, with all the dedication and sacrifice for all the players and coaches who came there to win a ring, should be subverted for an instance of poor preparation, and to put oneself at a stubborn self-inflicted disadvantage to uphold a pillar, is just irrational.

Every. Single. Time. Bill says coaches need to put players in the best position to win. He didn’t on that day. You know it. I know it. We all know it. This has become a weird meta argument of circular reasoning and bizarre principle/virtue worshipping.

If Doug Pedersen had benched Alshon Jeffrey, due to him being “demoted” for lack of focus, activated him, and he was standing on the sidelines while other receivers dropped passes and looked like jokers, you’d be using Pedersen as a shining example of idiocy and someone who takes their own rules too seriously and thought the coach was bigger than the team, while Bill is always about the team over his own ego and a guy who uses common sense foremost. I have zero doubt about that.

Spare Tire roly poly Patty should take his rocket ship and shove it where the sun don’t shine. Coaching ain’t for you fatty bo beef burger

Thanks for costing us a super bowl!! Sorry Malcolm

Why did it take over 10 yrs between Superbowl titles?
Because his GM sucked.

Between 2005-2008, they had very little needs, but Bill ignored them and they grew larger along with other needs. He let veterans go with no plan in place. He wasted the final years of the nucleus he built on D (Seymour, Wilfork and Warren).

Mayo’s career was also wasted with the rest of crap Bill put out there on D.

Yeah, we are fans. lol. I mean I hope this is not the first time you have heard a fan telll how to do things on a team. I am on another board that basically trashes everything Brady ever did. That basically bill just puppet mastered him and won despite what we had at QB. I do not see that as any better. I have no reason to dislike belichick at all, he has been the teams head coach for a lot of years, but there is in fact sides drawn in the sand over those two, and its not fair to either of them, but it exists.
It’s all ridiculous. Patriots fans have witnessed the greatest run in history and so many of them can’t wait to trash the people who did it. It’s just so time deaf to me for someone to criticize the best who has ever done it as if they would do a better job. Appreciate what you were lucky enough to be handed.

It’s fine to give Bill a few years, but there’s no way the Bucs were stacked. The Patriots were favored to win more games on the day Brady went to Tampa.

Yes it is made to discuss but to have nothing to say but criticism about the best who has ever done it is ignorant.
Yes his job is to win and he has won more than anyone. Appreciate that. You aren’t a browns fan, you have been gifted more success than any fan has a right to expect, yet all you can do is cry.

Go eat some more Ho Ho’s coach Patty.

the absolute proof of Bill Belichick's genius????????????????????
