I would just like to acknowledge we have a real trooper among us. To be able to continue posting between bouts of soup ass is something most of us couldn’t even fathom.

I had posted this on another forum but wanted to also post here to see what people think now that we have had time to digest these excerpts.

I think something big is going on. First, the Patriots would have read this book weeks ago. Advanced copies were given to the media and they would have let Kraft/Bill know about the bombs contained. The fact that there was no mitigation effort is very strange. I assume Kraft is going to speak at some point to address the scathing quotes that were attributed to him about Bill. I am not sure how he can't.

My feeling is this was a huge hit job on Bill it appears and I am starting to think more and more about Kraft's comments in the off-season about how they used to laugh at teams that spent in FA and his comments on the lousy drafting. The new personnel guys that were brought in ... Bedard saying that Bill was not really running things like he used to in the past at TC and that Patricia was doing more of the hands on stuff.

I don't know but there are lots of dots to connect here. Wickersham does not have an ax to grind with Bill over anything. He was fed this information from sources close to everyone in that org.

This does not past the smell test at all given the magnitude of what is purported to have happened with Bill over years. The Brady stuff is minor compared to the stuff from Kraft. He really needs to speak and soon as if he doesn't, I don't know that Bill has much time left in NE. I am not sure how you could read it any differently whether you think it is accurate or not. For an org that has been impenetrable for two decades, a lot of people spilled their guys to Seth. That's not an accident.

I don't get why Kraft would spill the stuff about him thinking Bill is an a**hole and call him an idiot savant unless a split between the two is coming. I don't know why Kraft decided to keep Bill over Tom if he doesn't like dealing with Bill and realistically both Brady and BB likely have about the same amount of time left in the league.

Absolutely, Kraft may be the primary source. I’ve always suspected it’s Jonathan Kraft. What’s nearly certain is that Wickersham has someone very high up, since I don’t think anyone besides Bill, Bob, or Jonathan would even know that Bill interviewed with other NFL teams. That said, I also think Bill is talking to Wickersham, likely by proxy. I don’t think Brady’s camp does.

I have generally been a Kraft supporter for what he's done overall but I will never get over him caving to the league and the other 31 on Deflategate. The biggest which hunt in sports history and he tucked his tail between his legs and bailed on Brady.

I kinda disagree. The idea is to make the pats look bad because its the pats who won for 20 yrs , not just brady. If anything they can use the brady departure to highlight more crap. all this comes down to access. If BB had good relations with peter kings of the world like andy reid does, he doesnt get bashed like this often with or without merit. Meanwhile reid's son can run over someone and there isnt much mention of it for too long.

I liked him before he left with the Goodell clown shirt and all that but after seeing how much the defense improved and how poorly he carried himself in Detroit I didn't want him back. If there is any thread of truth to him being the reason we had to watch Johnathan Bademosi and Jordan Richards throwing up all over themselves his key to the building should be forcefully taken from him.
