Game Day Thread Official Post Game Thread- Saints beat the Pats

THIS IS OUR LIVE GAME DAY THREAD:

This is where we gather to follow things on Game Day. Obviously, emotions tend to be high so if anyone gets a little crazy, the use of the “Mute” button is encouraged on anyone who may be annoying to you to control your experience and to allow the moderators to also enjoy the game.

At the same time, please take a deep breath before over-reacting for the sake of making this a pleasant experience for everyone.

They finally went up against a ball club that could take advantage of all the mistakes. Every little thing that this team has been/unable to do so far this season was there. That to me is one of the most alarming things. Years prior, this team had self corrected and eliminated these issues. Now? Not even a sign they’ve been worked on.
No one on this team stands out. No killer attitude. No fight. They get pushed around. We’ve got big, slow LB’s and I can’t figure out why!! If it wasn’t for the teams ball hawking skills, we could very well be looking at 0-3 right now. Out schemed, out hustled.

Self inflicted wounds and the inability to make a play when needed is the early story of the season.

Well that was gross. I think going forward, we are going to need more than 13 points to win.

A few things. Smith really hurt us this game. He has been bad every game so far with drops, fumbles and missed blocks. Bolden needs to go...was sad. Hightower is expensive and is barely better than Bentley and that alone is bad.

Not a good football team with not many avenues to improve moving forward. They are still mediocre after spending $175+ million.

The offense has been bad 3 years in a row with Tom, Cam & Mac. Someone has to be accountable.

Finally? DId you miss week 1?

And Week 2 was only a win because they were gifted more mistakes (4 gift picks!) than they made.

Remember during preseason the message was we were going to be a tough run first team with good players on the front of both sides of the ball?

Instead we are a soft, mistake riddled team that gets manhandled at the front of both sides of the ball.

Our biggest problems all stem from coaching…wonder if Bill holds himself and his coaching staff to the same standards that holds the players

Need to get Mac a true #1 WR. Need to be going for Adams, Godwin, Robinson or M.Williams in FA next year

Also hopefully McDaniels goes. Funny how when he finally started calling stuff down the field the offense moved then for some reason he defaults to his hand it off in the red zone stuff. I get it if Harris is in there but Bolden should not be in there to run it in the red zone, should only be in there to pickup any rushers

Our middle linebackers are not up to the task. Today Saints Demario Davis showed what NFL linebackers should be. Dont'a is done.

Defense as always looks good until we need them to make a stop.
I can't figure this out...they played so well until they needed a big stop and couldn't muster a pass rush on that big 3rd down and then the Saints just marched down the field...just very disappointing.

Miami is not good, I think he meant an actual decent team, not that the saints are that great, but they have a pretty good D.

I didn’t feel like the fins took advantage of that end of game fumble so much as the Pats shot themselves in the foot. Splitting hairs, I know. The Saints taking advantage=getting their asses stomped.
