I never said Brady "was a long for the ride". Brady worked hard and was a great team player and was a perfect QB that BB had always coveted until the end here. Nothing more, nothing less.
Like I said, read the scouting report on what a good QB needs. Most people wanted an "arm" or "size". BB all but created the prototype modern NFL QB. Everyone started looking for the next Brady with the accuracy, understanding of defenses from Bill, game management, and leadership with toughness. Brady has shown to have it all. No one else valued those traits and BB saw it and developed him. Not Pete Carroll, not Andy Reid, not anyone else who thinks they're on his level. Belichick. The greatest football mind in NFL history.
But, no one wanted Brady. He was a late bloomer and a flabby prospect who needed seasoning and what better coach to set him up for success than the greatest def mind ever? He's basically the guy that gives you all the answers to the test and Brady wisely absorbed it all.
To proclaim BB had no influence on Brady's career is absolutely hilarious and deserves a session with Sigmund Freud's great, great grandson. It's lunatic level material.
As stated FACTUALLY so, only JimmyG was drafted to succeed Brady. That's it. And BB was ready to move on after the 2017 season and Kraft stepped in to broker a truce. It wasn't 10. It was 1. You're wrong about everything you type and you don't know the facts. The others were cheap developmental back ups because Brady was going nowhere, so why pay 4-6 million like for back up when you don't need to and you save a roster spot as Edelman as your emergency back up anyway. No team carries just 2 QBs except BB. BB's genius is so vast it's above you, apparently.
Keep chipping away at the stupidity. You're doing a great job with it.
