THIS IS OUR LIVE GAME DAY THREAD:

This is where we gather to follow things on Game Day. Obviously, emotions tend to be high so if anyone gets a little crazy, the use of the “Mute” button is encouraged on anyone who may be annoying to you to control your experience and to allow the moderators to also enjoy the game.

At the same time, please take a deep breath before over-reacting for the sake of making this a pleasant experience for everyone.

Lastly, we have never allowed promoting the use of any illegal streaming. This is illegal and will be enforced by copyright holders, which puts this site at risk. DO NOT POST ANY LINKS to those platforms.

This also means, there absolutely cannot be any mention these platforms, spaces, special characters, etc. - so do not get creative in trying to work around this request.

If you do you will have your account suspended.

Would love to have seen a replay down the field there. Looked like Henry was at least getting a free release, was hoping we would look his way.

I agree that NE will need to maximize in the redzone. Having said that : going from 19-3 to 22-3 is pushing the game to three scores. In this particular instance, it doesn’t pain me to get the fG.

Pat's offense beginning to reveal itself.

4th rushing
30th passing

Mac has to know the blitz is coming on 3rd down- that's Saleh.

Should have audibled to a hot read and stop relying on White because Jets are all over him.
Agreed, it’s getting to the point where I’m worried about jumping the route for a pick-6. His throws have been strong enough so far though. Still, audible to a hot read next time…..

Part of me wants McDaniels to open up the playbook in the RZ, the other part of me understands why they went conservative.
Mac will not gain experience in those situation throwing short of the EZ everytime.

McDaniels being very conservative with Mac Jones
Definitely…..very conservative….maybe too conservative…..but they are doing what’s best for the team so i get it

22 points is the same 3 TDs...I'll take it

Beside the few trick plays, the play calling in the red zone is really conservative.

Again 0 throw in the EZ! At some point we have to take some risks
I think if they thought the jest were a danger they would have been more aggressive, plus they may figure punky wilson will give them good field possesion again

I think in a few weeks assuming Jones keeps playing like this, they will take off the training wheels and let him be more aggressive. More likely than not, they will have to against the Bucs.

Serious question ...

Do people know Josh only calls the play? He's not telling Mac who or where to go? Like you understand coverage, pressure effects that as well.

It's funny bc he has obvious faults but people bring up stuff that doesn't make sense imo. Josh isn't passing the ball.

terrible tackling

You have to think that BB is allowing Zac to roll out again and again for some reason- he must have seen something in his game to exploit.

Most polite ref ever. “Thank you” & “my apologies”.
