So Fields will start week 1. Wilson will start week 1. Lawrence will start week 1. All this is ok, but Jones needs a half season of bench warming before he is ready? If the Pats #1a/2 was Hoyer instead of Cam would we be even having this conversation?

If Nagy is smart he will not start Fields in week 1 until they clean up their crap OL. Put Dalton in there and let him take the beating until the OL figures itself out.

I really hope that BB gives Mac the starter reps in the game Sunday vs the giants. I really want to see what Mac can do with the starters against a starting defense!

If you aren't firmly entrenched in your position, you can lose it.

If Mac starts Sunday and does well, he would be my odds on favorite to start the season. Will be a window on how the team views him at this point.

I disagree. We are deep enough with Mills and Bryant savvy enough to play CB/S.

I am OK with rolling with Michael Jackson or Bryant on the roster for a few weeks until Gilmore is ready to go.
