Cam Newton: "I'm far from perfect, but loyalty, I deserve it"

Yup, posted it in the other thread

What loyalty does he deserve? Does he really think that one year of bad football with a team means they can’t replace him with a better player?

Oh guys!! He's the best leader and a team guy...how dare you question him by pointing out all the examples of his crappy attitude in Carolina whenever adversity came up, you hater jerk! You're just butt hurt.

cam reminds me of how my sister acted in high school lol. i bet BB brings it up and hes like "oh that had nothing to do with the NFL"

I hate when people try to read into cryptic social media messages. Who cares? Until Newton becomes a problem, he can post whatever he wants on Instagram and I will continue to ignore it. For all we know, a friend could have said something about him or his agent won't return his calls or whatever.

Maybe he's talking about his employees at his Cigar Bar in Atlanta and the fact that they're defecting from the "Fellaship." (which unfortunately makes me think of Fellayshio because I'm really 12 years old)

Cam Newton seems like a nice guy, good leader, and so on. This social media post falls somewhere between passive aggressive and completely meaningless. Whatever.

I'm too lazy to create a Trent Dilfer meme for all those holding out hope for Cam. So we'll just go with the quote. "Face it, he's not good anymore!"

This should make both sides happy, Cam sticking up for himself and Cam giving the team an reason to label him as a malcontent and dump him.

Meanwhile, Mac has been showing there is no glaring reason why he will not succeed, according to a nice piece by Conor Orr in SI:

Definitely in line with what we saw last night. To me the big thing is he didn't run when there was pocket pressure, he just worked his reads and only if there was no other option he pulled down the ball and ran. This separates him from lots of NFL rookies.

Point is nobody really knows wtf hes talking about. If you dont know keep your mouth shut. The Medellin Hooters tshirt was in the same IS: maybe he took over after Escobar and was sending his minions a message. Why act like a bunch of gossipy women in a nail salon and speculate on minutiae that nobody really cares about?

Question for those that were here, the old timers.

Has @DropKickFlutie always been this bad of a poster. Was he ever good?
Like many of the worst posters here, I don’t recall his douchebaggery being on regular display until mid to late March of 2020, when a certain player cut ties with the Pats.

One silver lining of Brady leaving was that we were supposed to be rid of Deus, the DB (not to be confused with DP) King but that dream was shattered when his threat turned out to be an empty one (like that fat troll Lena Dunham, who was supposed to take her FUPA to Canada if Trump won in ‘16 but didn’t).
