Seymour will get in eventually.

Agree on Rodney and Vince. Both Hall worthy but are not getting in.

Adam will be in in a few years and that's it until Gronk/Brady.
It will be interesting to see how Adam goes into the HOF. As a Patriot or as a Colt?

Agree...dont have to like it, but agree. Wilfork may be the very last true NT to play at that HOF level too in the legacy 3-4/4-3 defensive sets which are now mostly gone due to 3 WR or Move TE offenses.

Another example where statistical "fantasy" culture impacts the NFL wherein a guy that likely saw more double teams than most of his peers and still put up stats or disrupted plays so much that his teammates were able to make plays of their own getting the statistic when it was often Wilfork's athleticism that truly broke up the play.

Take Harry out of the equation from your post, then reflect for a second on the historical facts - BB plays the players that did the best in practice.

Now you can put Harry back into the equation, but just wanted to remind you of how the Patriots are run so you don't have a stroke IF, and it remains an if because there is a lot of practice/camp/preseason left to be examined before the games start for real, Harry is put out there due to that practice performance.

He plays the guy who did better in practice as a tiebreaker, if the players are roughly equal, as would any coach. In general, he's not going to start a backup over a starter because the backup had a better week of practice. That's just BB myth making. And he's not going to pick a guy for the roster based on practice performance only, if he thinks that player isn't roster worthy. Especially when that guy has been disappointing in the past...I could see this being somewhat applicable to a rookie or unknown FA who is shining but not a vet with rumored work ethic and attitude problems.

Bill doesn't handle his rosters decisions any differently from anyone else...and if we went with the consensus "how does Bill do things," Harry would have already been frozen out/released due to his public whining.

Harry will make the team if he's actually showing significant improvement that leads Bill to believe he'll be better than he was before. I'm skeptical that's the case, but we'll see. It would seem that playing against first teamers in a pretty intense scrimmage is the best guage of this.

If Mac was near 70%, I’d say his chances of winning the #1 QB job would be higher. But I don’t think Bill will give the job to Mac based on the current stats. Also let’s see what happens in the preseason games. The higher completion percentage with more pass attempts, and 1/2 the INTs is impressive for a rookie though.
Nor should he imo. Mac needs to fully earn it, not be given it. Not that beating Cam should be hard at this point but he's gotta earn the job.

Because stats are for losers people....

Overall passing stats excluding the day 9 walk through in the stadium...

Cam 103/164 63%, 7 INT
Mac 124/187 66%, 3 INT
