All the hyping up of NKeal isn't fooling anyone. Beating Ja'Juan Williams on that route will never translate in the regular season, Ja'Juan may not even be in the nfl soon.

With the continued failure of slow Juan and the contract issue with Gilmore, do we have a potentially huge issue with our secondary?

seems like we are an injury to Jackson or mccourty away from disaster!

************.
amazing how some "fans" can see what they want in the future because they're friggin scared to death like little girls of the questions at QB today. The only price I'm paying for a released Hightower or McCourty is the free agency cost. What is anyone going to give the Pats in trade? a seventh round pick? Why would BB do this? My opinion, born of decades of experience watching Bill operate is High and McCourty are firmly entrenched THIS year as starters. Who knows how the Gilmore situation works its' way out right now? Who knows what kind of value BB could get dealing him...he'd have to take pennies on the dollar IMO.I think what we're seeing is Occam's Razor in practice here...a stifling defense, a grinding offense, stellar special teams and a conservative approach with the QB position to kick off the season.

The Patriots have a number of offensive weapons yet all you are doing is crying like a little girl about Harry....over and over and over...jeezus krist, yes, WE GET IT! You hate Harry. In fact it seems you go out of your way to hate on a lot of Patriot players. Bashing Williams after reading a few camp reports is IDIOTIC on its face. The Pats have yet to play their 1st EXHIBITION Game...slow the chicken little bawking until at least next week.

No the funny thing is media articles trying to hype up Harry again. Nope nobody is buying it. Doesn't matter how many instagram videos he makes or how many crap articles are made that he's somehow better. The tape don't lie. The drafts the last couple years have been absolutel trash and fully expect both Harry and JaJuan to not be Patriots soon.

Shouldn't you be in the Tampa forum?

Not at all, I’m positive I’m not the only one around here who feels like he has a habit of missing practices or leaving early cause of an injury.
Practice? We talking about practice?

If Mac is starting and that signals the season is over, do you really think it would be beneficial for his development to surround with lesser quality leaders/players on and off the field? I’ve seen this type of post several times and can’t tell if it’s serious or not.
It’s not.

I can feel how badly you are hoping that Harry doesn't turn it around.

Like, it would really hurt if he had a solid season, wouldn't it?

I don't know. It seems to me that TB was at his core that game. Win first, follow the game plan like you wrote it, be efficient, convert third downs.

The Ram's D was a tough matchup for the receivers. But, like many big games, TB/Gronk/Julian did what had to be done when it had to be done. Add to that a solid rushing attack, and a very stout D, and the Pats got another.
I remember during that game saying, ok Brady, it’s time to Brady. And he did, at the most important time. He could’ve pulled a Manning and thrown the ball when they got to the 2, but Sony ran it up the gut untouched from 2 yards out.

Harry looks good in preseason when he isn’t hurt. Hopefully that will translate to the regular season. The quotes from 2 years ago were written before the first preseason game when he was injured and missed 1/2 the season. That kind of slowed his development. Let’s see if he stays healthy and is on the team at the start of the season. Keeping my fingers crossed.

All those attacking Harry saying it’s only training camp. This is the FIRST training camp that he’s stayed healthy and dominated. The talent was always there. Coming into that draft, he was always rated as a 1st round pick, and at worst rated the 3rd best receiver in the draft, I even saw one ranking where he was rated as the top receiver.

Maybe, just maybe, he’s finally living up to that hype. Maybe he finally gets what it takes. Anger, no matter how misguided, is sometimes a great motivator. I remember playing Pop Warner ball, I was a DE/LB, my coach told me I was going to be 2nd string. I had never been 2nd string. That next practice, I tore it up, played the best football of my life, I was killing guys. Parents were coming up to me telling me how good I was playing. At the end of practice, my coach said, “you’re 1st string”. It was all due to anger. It really motivated me. Now I was angry at everyone except me, I was the one to blame.

Now imagine being an NFL 1st round pick. And being so angry you ask for a trade. Harry has nobody to blame but himself for his poor play. Seems like he’s finally motivated to be good. Let’s see if his good practices translates to good games.

I'm really tired of this "hating" and "attacking" Harry crap.

Up to this point Harry has been a bust. It's a fact. It's not attacking or hating. It's an evaluation of a 1st rd pick who has done nothing at the NFL level for 2 years and has the gall to ask for a trade. He has not earned any confidence he will produce like a 1st rd pick because, well...he hasn't done it.

As an aside, Harry was projected anywhere between a late 1st rounder to a high 3rd rounder. He was never a universally -agreed 1st round prospect.

As I said to another poster yesterday, some players are late bloomers. Some players hit the ground running immediately. Some are busts. Some due to injury, circumstances out of their control or their own limiting behavior never meet their potential.

It's 10 practices. He's done very well. He's also had stretches in past camps in which he's done well and then got hurt, flamed out, etc.

Let's see how he does after a complete regular season in which he's broken through before we start being a little more optimistic he's going to have a solid NFL career.

There is no doubt that Harry has been a bust and a huge disappointment so far. BUT if he is able to turn it around as patriot fans we should hope he can. Another weapon only makes the team better.

No use holding onto hating one player. Although it's fair to be skeptical if this will translate to the regular season.
