I have Wilkerson taking Harry’s place, ahead of Zune’s.

Now that Edelman is gone Wilkerson has the best lateral quickness among the WR’s, his agility drills exiting college were superb.

Wino isn't making it easy for himself...And both Terez Hall and especially Keene really, Really need to get their azzes on the field as absolutely soon as ****ing possible...

His numbers back up your observation. The dude is an NFL athlete.

Wilkerson ran the fastest 40-yard dash time with 4.46 seconds. His time rated 11th among wide receivers at this year's NFL Combine. Wilkerson also registered a 39.5-inch vertical jump, a broad jump of 10'8" and ran the pro agility and 3-cone drills in 4.09 and 6.68 seconds, respectively.

Agreed. Pre-season games will be extra fun this year as the fans will be able to judge the QBs without the Pats' press filter.

Pre & scrimmages will be key imo. You win the team over in camp. Get them believing. Show you belong with the big boys against real bullets. Players don't lie and will let you know who can really play.

The raw 3-cone numbers are one thing but an elite WR 3-cone number doesn’t necessarily show up on game day. For every Edelman and Branch, there is a Boyce, Salas, TJ Moe or Underwood, all of whom had elite 3-cone times. In contrast, Welker’s 3-cone was over 7.

Wilkersons pro day numbers are impressive his 3-cone time was better than Gunner’s (still very good at 6.88) but I’ll take Gunner’s change of direction and elusiveness over an other Pats WR. Whether that will translate to production as a slot guy is another story. I’d love for one of them to emerge as an unexpected asset in the passing game.
