Akers is out for the season, perfect trade destination for Michel?

The actual proposed trade aside (which is unrealistic), if Michel is to be moved this is the kind of situation that would get you the most return. But before we move on from Michel, I want to see Stevenson really take to the NFL game. Otherwise we're putting all of our eggs in Damien Harris as our traditional runner. And if we still expect to be a run-heavy offense, we need depth at that position.

Yep...Michel's not going anywhere until the end of TC, at the earliest.

If we move on from Michel then we're assuming Harris can stay healthy and that hasn't happened yet...
sb, I get your point, but with a rb depth chart of Harris, Michel, Stevenson, White, JJ Taylor and Bolden, it is pretty crowded and stacked. If there was ever a time to trade him and get something of value in return, if we can, I think now is the time. If we are just trading Sony for the sake of trading him, I would say no, let's keep him. We saw late last year that he can be very productive.

The Rams are considered to be a superbowl favorite in the NFC.
Mcvay and Belichick have respect for one another.
How about Michel and Harry for Cooper Kupp?
This reminds me of every jabroni that ever proposed to me a fantasy football trade.... only in this case, you can't even make the silly claim about how you're losing more "points" with Michel and Harry than I'd lose with Kupp....

Depends on Taylor and Stevenson.

Trading Sony does not hurt the NE run game. The Rams would never trade away a prominent player since they do have a shot at championship. Draft pick, yes imo.

I mean we could throw in a mid round pick but if Bill could pull that off the man would be a genius.
Mcvay gets the most out of me first players like Harry. And Michel would get a new lease on life. The Rams are not scared of high profile trades.
It could make some sense.

From LA's standpoint, it makes no sense whatsoever.

Period.

I know that looks like RBBC but Harris is still the RB1 though and I expect him to get the bulk of early down carries where those other guys minus Sony are more situational. Would love to see what he can do over a full season if healthy.

RBs are a dime a dozen in the NFL. The Rams will find one cheap if they don’t already have one on the roster. Harry isn’t worth a pack of gum. This trade scenario is laughable.

Sure, just trade Michel for a 5th and assume that all will remains healthy AND Taylor and Stevenson will be major contributors.
