End of an Era for NBA

.

Seattle WA and Portland OR are sheetholes.

Tards are in control. Losers. They would likely come to your house and protest that youre on stolen land.
Kansas…..lol

Yeah, no racists in Boston. Just misunderstood. That’s some rose-colored glasses.

I understand your response but that’s not where I was coming from.

Jay Williams tweet is mindbogglingly ignorant.
Celtics signed 1st black player in nba history.
Celtics(Red Aeurbach) played the 1st all-black starting 5 in nba history .
Thats on top of all the black hcs the C's have had: Russell, Sanders, Jones, Carr,Rivers
I mean Rivers still coaches in the nba.
Williams might be the most ignorant of nba history of ANY nba media EVER. He went to Duke. His parents are professors.
How the hell can he be so f'n stupid?
Maybe he's stupid or ignorant because his parents are professors.

Who is Red Auerbach?

Never mind, it’s the guy who sings
“Never Going To Give You Up”
He's the Celtics' HC who'd fire up a cigar on the bench when he thought his team had the game won.

Imagine the crying we'd hear now if Belichick did that? There'd be enough tears from the losers to fill a stadium.

The greatest coach of all time. No discussion.
Red has it over all the others as a GM too. But, BDM now.

As for racism, I wish we could have an open discussion on that topic. We need it.

Let me just say, I think America is easily the least racist place to live in the world and that Boston isn't the most racist of it's cities.

Speaking of America, happy 4th of July to everyone who reads this.

Thanks for that. It makes me proud we fought and won Independence from a tyrannical empire. But at the same time we were embracing slavery in part because of greed and in part through ignorance. We thought whites were superior and had a right to own black people. Edit. They weren't people they were property. Independence day didnt mean the same for black people and for many it still doesn't.

Not to send you down a rabbit hole but you might enjoy some Howard Zinn. Thanksgiving and Columbus Day may feel different too.....

Bostonians, though their god-given means to express themselves, have an elevated capacity to be @ssholes........throughout the process of being an @sshole, the line can be smeared where a person could be seen as racist when they're actually being the way they are behaving towards anyone.

Boston has also been very 'tribal' ..... the southie / charlestown thing is a great example
...
Chinatown, West Roxbury/Roxbury, North End/South End, Mattapan, Southie, Eastie, C-Town, Scumerville/Medfa.

We never had a chance.

Not sure what we're arguing about here anymore, as Rick Carlisle was hired to the Indiana Pacers and thus Red's esoteric streak still lives, plus there continues to be no racism in Boston as validated by individual posters here who haven't seen it themselves.
