You over-estimate the heights of some of the backups by 1"- 1-1/2", and in the case of Sherman you're WAY off.

I do completely agree with your take on Thanksdad Ferentz, however...The dude ****ing sucks real ****ing bad.

Agree on Wynn. He’s done nothing to warrant his option to be picked up.

Owenu will be playing LG until Wynn gets hurt again and ends up on IR.

Will bb work out an extension with brown?

I do lot see a lot of difference makers in this draft at offensive tackle.

I am not a draft evaluator but I read there is a lot of OT talent in the 202 draft. And the Pats do a pretty good job identifying OTs and plugging them in quite fast.

The Pats backups are bad except for Karras. Herron should not be playing under any circumstance.

Once Wynn gets hurt again in the future due to [toe/ ankle / knee/ labrum], the Pats will go to the lineup that they practiced in camp with Karras at LG:
Brown-Karras-Andrews-Mason-Onwenu.

And I would argue the lineup should just stay this way, if it's used, as it's tough to keep moving 3 guys around all the time for the same 1 injury-prone guy. Just alternate Wynn in at LG when he's healthy.

You should make a thread about this @DropKickFlutie ??

I'm just about to post my thread on tackles ...
Kinnard, NPF, Ekwonu, Sills, Kirkland on my radar for us.

Do you project any of these tackles to be left tackles? And will any of the left tackles still be available with pick 32 of the 1st round?
Kinnard has played RT but switching this year I believe. We'll see how it goes but he stood out as someone we'd like.

Ekwonu, Sills, Kirkland all have T potential but played elsewhere. So they bring some versatility.

Wanya Morris is super talented. Never really put it together. Transferring. If he does put all together this year his situation and inconsistent play could knock him a bit.

Class looks good but I'm not in love yet. Last few drafts in general have been stacked. We'll see what happens next spring.

As long as we're picking at 32!

My only concern regarding the Pats offensive line is whether Mike Reiss can find the stepladder he used to interview Trent Brown back in 2018.

He doesn't need one for Shack Mason that's for sure.

I went back to check the heights and I did overestimate Sherman significantly. NFL Draft Scout has him at 6' 3.2". Herron was also wrong and NFL Draft Scout has him at 6' 3.5".
