I don’t even think he’d be able to make the team as a TE at this point.

We get it, you think that he sucks. Got anything else to add to the conversation?

what is really weird is bb has switched players positions in the past. Not sure why he won’t do it with Harry!

Name the wide receiver whom he converted to a tight end, at any time in his headcoaching career. He picked up Tim Wright but he was already considered a hybrid WR/TE before that acquisition.

In fact, I believe that he was asked about this in a press conference and he pretty much dismissed it….he talked about how difficult that transition would be, because of how dramatically different the two positions are in terms of responsibilities as well physical requirements to play each position at the NFL level.

Jakobi Meyers says hi.

Also, are you intentionally ignoring the fact that Cam 2021 was not close to Cam 2015-2018 just to bolster your argument or is that just willful ignorance.
Isn't "intentionally ignoring" the same as "willful ignorance?"

Not sure what you're asking, but the answer is "YES!"

I think that IF the Pats trade for Julio Jones, Harry will be part of the package going back to Atlanta. A fresh start, and a good QB throwing to him may be what he needs.

No….the former is intentionally omitting facts in the deception of others, to strengthen one’s argument. The latter is self-deception, used as a defense mechanism, that one may use to shield him/herself from reality.

Has Vegas released the odds on trade destinations yet?

Here are the facts: BB and the front office thought that the Harry/Meyers combo had such a bright future that they completely retooled the WR and TE positions in the offseason, and are rumored to be interested in trading for Jones. They then brought Cam back. So, instead of Homering up the thread and digging your heels in to justify opinions you’ve glued yourself to in the past about Harry, why don’t you explain why they would do such a thing if Harry has been anything but a disappointment, and who you see him taking snaps from? You can go down both the TE and WR depth charts to provide your answer on that one.

Thanks for explaining that to me. Definitely willful ignorance then.

You compared Harry to Meyers. In the same 2 years.... Meyers - 85 catches 1088 yds (26/359 with Brady as an udfa). Harry - 45 catches 414 yds (12/105 with Brady as a 1st round pick).

I was suggesting that Harry and Benjamin are similarly built receivers, and Harry barely managed 300 yds, while Cam once helped Benjamin to 2 consecutive 1000yd seasons. Also, Meyers doubled up Harry in production with Cam at QB (whether he was his old self or not).

I really do want the guy to succeed and am typically a huge optimist/homer, but in the NFL, you don't get a lot of chances. We've seen glimpses of what he could possibly be capable of. Even without a ton of separation, he's capable of jump balls/sideline routes, but he really needs to up his game, become more consistent, and simply see the field more THIS season (if he gets that chance).

He's an asset in the run game, but he not going to carve out a career without catching more balls.

Why will ATL give more trade value that the highest trade value from other teams? Harry's market value is between a 4th and a 7th. I don't know. However, this trade can be secured with other teams.

Apparently, Harry also has a hate page on IG...

He doesn't need his own hate page. All one needs to do is read through his comments on his IG post. I sent a friend it the other day because of the comments on that video, are straight-up hilarious. At the same time, it makes me feel bad for the guy a little. Either way, he has still made about 4 milly in his career, so the jokes still on most of us.

EDIT : It appears he has deleted most of the funniest comments. He was getting roasted hard.

$4,000,000 won’t last him long unless he invests it properly which, in looking at pictures of his house, car, and style, it doesn’t look like he is.

This will be the make or break preseason for Harry. He should actually get to participate in a preseason, which he didn’t his first two years, possibly play with a QB who can actually throw into a window the size of an 18 wheeler and hopefully not miss over 1/2 his rookie season with an injury. It will be interesting to see if either a completely retooled Cam, or Mac will make a difference.
